I always get the vibe of someone twirling around the sidewalks, in an 'own-worldly' manner, with a feather boa on. The feather boa being those damn annoying sparkly banners.

All sorts of reach here, if you listen to what Kevin Smith reported on, Prince went on a pseudo intellectual rant lecturing that gay people were living in sin at The Celebration. It wasn't just a statement, even fans complained in the room over his preaching. Prince is obsessed w/ sexual taboos and misinterpetations of the bible which he has completely bought into by other spiritual hucksters. I know you want to be the loyal fan but there comes a point you have to understand that Prince can't face up to the fact that he has prejudice against the gay lifestyle because of religious dogma. That's why he soapbox ranted about the following:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=hZZomOd9BeY#t=1039

eek Whoa...I've never seen that before, thanks for posting! thumbs up!

It is important to note that Kevin smith didn't get paid for his week of filming there. Imagine if the situation was reversed, Prince loyalists would be outraged that the purple one didn't get compensated. For Kevin to stay there for a week tells you something about his dedication to art. Even when Prince didn't even seem to care that Kevin's time was valuable, he still trusted his direction (or lack of direction)

But getting back to the point, I remember people were lectured on "lifestyles" or "beliefs" at NPGMC chat room by so called moderators. I remember when the tech that worked there said the whole chat was logged and that is why the flashing screen was constant. Prince was obsessed what people thought about him beyond the praise & he was logging all activity. The subject of religion was always juvenile even the bible study was horrible example of Prince's attempt to control his legion of NPGMC members.

There is a reason why Prince has a few people helping him because they can't handle preaching or lecturing of this pedantic dogma. Why Prince fans want to pretend Prince isn't this way, who knows. Maybe it tarnishes their representation in their mind of the fabrication they have created of Prince.

The other M.o. of Prince is, if he says something prejudice or an offensive remark to a community, immediately a press statement goes out countering that isn't the intent. It is almost like he cant face up to any remarks he makes, he just writes it off to avoid an actual discussion where likely he will lose. I couldn't imagine Prince sitting down w/ Richard Dawkins on Bill Maher show. He would get his ass handed to him as soon as he started w/ the quoting.

Prince and Larry Graham have proven in the past they are obsessed w/ anyone not following "The Book" Prince would collapse instantly if he tried to debate someone w/ religious dogma he was programmed to recite. None of it makes sense, Prince is too stubborn to admit he has been swindled on the subject of "Spiritual Education"

Loyalist fans can get furious or resentful at these observations. You have to wonder how many in former Prince's circle read our posts and agree w/ our feeling on this matter. Everytime I see a Prince fan who just spouts loyalism, I think of scenes from " Monty Python's Life of Brian"

Well love it, like it, or hate it, I do appreciate Prince making this song available for the low low cost of $0.00.

I hate that. He takes away the only thing left enjoyable about music. Theft. He's supposed to charge so that we can feel good about having got a way with something when we steal it. Its a major part of today's listening experience. Get your spoon to keep the sarcasm from pooling below.

After listening to the new song a few times, I kind of get where Prince is coming from. Allow me to
explain...
*

Prince is becoming a very bitter fancy lesbian. Getting old isn't easy, especially when you like to
hump women half your age. All that make-up can't hide those lines that are coming through and
he keeps getting ditched for younger women.
*
*
This is what happened. Prince, who really identifies as a woman, got together with a fellow lesbian.
How do I know that Prince considers himself a woman? Well, he sings "I saw you kickin it with
another girl." Who was the original girl? Prince. That is why he is so pissed.
*
*
Prince further proves my point when he sings, "Snatching little wigs from another bouquet."
"Little Wigs..." well, that would be the little thatch of hair found between a woman's legs.
You snatch little wigs when you are eating the pussy!
"Snatching..." lol enough said
Whose bouquet was she originally snatching "little wigs" from? Prince's...duh.
*
*

So, anyways...Prince meets this lesbian and totally starts to fall in love with her. But, damnit, there
is a problem. Prince can't have sex with her...well...not sex that includes penetration, because
Jehova doesn't allow that shit. So they agree that they will only engage in oral sex (as proven
with how mad he is about kissing her...(spits)). She agrees to leave the "dirty world" behind
(having sex with just anyone) and promises to be Prince's forever.
*
*

Well, everything goes south when Prince takes a walk down to the corner store to get a box
of tampons. Walking with his usual smug stride, Prince is stopped in his tracks when he sees
his one true love all over another girl! (WHAT A BITCH)
*
*

Just like a CIA agent, his woman is leading a double life and already has a wife. Prince is
just a side hoe. At this point Prince sings that he guesses that "a mans only good for a rainy
day." Prince recognizes that he is something that is fun to play with but isn't wife material.
*
*

He has the reciept...her promise to only be with him. But, of course, it was all fake. (Damn, just...
damn)
*
*
"Sun must be out, no more rainy days..." She has left him for good. Now, he sits alone at home
singing about his sorrow. Plus, his stupid fucked up fans think he is talking trash about lesbians
when he is really singing about how hard it is to be an aging fancy lesbian. He just can't win
these days!!

LoL...That's good enough for me! lol

Prince has no quality control (anymore). I often wondered how a man that is capable to create such wonderful music also releases total crap. Everyone produces garbage sometimes, but most keep the crap to themselves and release only the good stuff.

I understand that and it make sense...but to pretend the dude doesn't have chorus' or hooks or versus in his songs just dumb. Does EVERY song follow a ababca format...no...and I liiiiike that. Its a false premise to put forth as to why u don't like his music anymore. The quality control bit is arguable and preferential...but some structure argument is just wrong. Prince don't have Alzheimer's yet.

Yep, every song doesn't need to be ABABCB. But it should at least be a song. That's the difference between, say, Groovy Potential and this newest release. Then there's the most of the tracks on the 1999 album: ABABCBextendedfunk!

You don't know me very well. Satire, my dear, satire.

I already posted how I really felt about Prince's new song and I am very much aware of the fact
that Prince is prejudice when it comes to the queer community. I have also seen the Kevin Smith
video more than once and have actually spoke with Kevin about his experience.

For christs sake...Mary had a little lamb is a fuckin song.

Prince has done simple funk jams his WHOLE career. He's not allowed that any more?

And everyone knows the next song will be this songs polar opposite. Pfunk, br'fast, screwdriver, groovy, LOL, menstrual cycle are all utterly diverse and I'm certain his next release will be similarly different. People act like the next songs r gonna be repeats of this silly funk fun song till he dies.

Perspective people.

Yeah Prince has just been going through the motions and in need of a producer for long time now. He has been in the same rut for so long he needs someone to push him out of his comfort zone. He is a great artist and it be great if he was pushed a little. It's sad watching him go out like this. like watching Picasso do the same painting of Hello Kitty over and over and over and over again and it looking worse and worse and worse.

Picasso had his Blue Period, but dam, he eventually moved on. It's been thirty years and Prince is still drawing the musical equivalent of a badly drawn Hello Kitty.

Maybe it’s just the trend cycle swinging back around … or the exorbitant price of razor blades … or the fact that Gwyneth Paltrow confessed to Ellen DeGeneres earlier this year that she works “a ‘70s vibe.”

Whatever the reason, it may be high time to say buh-bye to the Brazilian and let that pubic hair grow. The Daily Mail reports a new survey from UK Medix shows 62 percent of women surveyed said their partners dig the natural look downstairs, while 51 percent admitted they let things grow wild and 45 percent add they once kept up grooming in that area, but have since called it quits.

Of course, plenty of women still prefer to keep things tidy in the bikini line area, with 33 percent reporting they shave, 27 percent responding they get professional wax jobs and 15 percent copping to using hair-removal creams, according to the newspaper.

We can’t say we’re sad to see the pubic hair trend heading back to a, er, fuller look. As Carrie Bradshaw gasped after a Brazilian session, “I got mugged! She took everything I've got.” Who wants that? Besides, as Paltrow knows, the ‘70s rocked.

After listening to the new song a few times, I kind of get where Prince is coming from. Allow me to
explain...
*

Haughty derision, it is! lol

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Throw Out Your Razors, Ladies -- a '70s Bush Is Back in Style

Most women surveyed say their partners like things natural downstairs

I like to shave my junk as well. Primarily the scrotum and the shaft...with mere trimming the rest. It looks good. The problem is sweat, with draws or boxers, is just untenably sticky sometimes, especially in the high humidity of the south. So I typically reserve it to winter months.

How's THAT for TMI?

You don't know me very well. Satire, my dear, satire.

I already posted how I really felt about Prince's new song and I am very much aware of the fact
that Prince is prejudice when it comes to the queer community. I have also seen the Kevin Smith
video more than once and have actually spoke with Kevin about his experience.

Satire, eek That's sooo convincing. I thought I was reading something off the NPGMC main board. Bravo, lol
