In a Chicago Radio interview Lisa talked about the creation of the Purple Rain soundtrack and music

She & Wendy during a rehearsal came up with the opening line

and that's Wendy screaching on the opening guitar

That is a song I would love to have sat on from beginning to end of it's creation

Is the song even about anything? It just sounds like a badass freejam. I've been rocking the Foefur "Remaster" for a while now. That one-two punch of extended Computer Blue and Darling Nikki is badass.

It's a song about Anger Fear Lust Pain, and working it out through music, I always say it's part II to Something In the Water Does Not Computer

I only play the 7 minute version when I play this song. Thank god it is in prestine condition because I cant listen to the regular one the same anymore.

I wish the hallway speech was clear because that version is very muffled and I cant appreciate it
