i only talk about what i see around me. the internet can make it easy to get into (older) music. And what i seen from people i know, they all like Bowie and they are all young, so yes, might be true then couple of years ago, but now it definitely has changed, i think. also for example; I saw more younger people at a Bruce Springsteen concert than i did at a Prince concert. Same goes for Paul McCartney. can't really compare both to each other but stil..

and yes for sure, Bowie will get more attention for his new material than Prince.

But that doesn't mean that more than 50 % is young in the audience, but it guess it's more than it was couple of years ago, because of the internet, and how easy it is to get music.

That would only happen because Bowie hasn't done anything for a long time. It's the same thing that happened when Sade didn't come out with an album in almost 15 years(?), and when she did, her longtime fans bought the album, and I believe she won a grammy for it. If she waits another 10 to 15 years, same thing will most likely happen. So it would not be unusual if Bowie released an album and it does well because he hasn't done one in a while. When a well-known artist leaves the scene for awhile, and has longtime, dedicated fan base, there is always a chance that if they release music, those are the fans that will most likely buy the music, along with some younger fans.

Nothing new. But like others have said here, Prince and Bowie are two completely different artists, with different, creative music styles. Prince moreso a musician/artist/performer, whereas Bowie is a performing artist (not aware if Bowie plays any instruments). Both are from an era where real music was being created, revolutionized and appreciated. Both have earned their way to their fame and legendary status.

Its the Pineal gland in the brain centered in the middle of the forehead. Stimulizes dreams and spiritual brain activity. I read alot about it I wish they would do more research on it.

Thanks, I actually read about some of that yesterday. Almost sounds like it involves one who is psychic. Seems an interesting topic, and requires some dedicated research time to absorb.

Not just that, but the single Bowie released is so ridiculously radio friendly to the point that you suspect that song and radio are doing secretly doing the hanky panky at the song's secret love nest. The song emotionally connects people like good songs about mortality and death and living tend to do. Now I'm not dissing RNRLA, but it's a fun Prince melody. I enjoyed. You don't invest your lives into it like Bowie's single, nor designed to really.

Also, Bowie's single is backed by one surreal music video that's simple but dares you to interpret what it all means. I doubt there is an actual meaning to the symbology, but who cares the fun is the fan/public debating. "Did you see that Bowie video?" "yeah the one with dolls? Weird stuff man. Bowie is back!"

Two different artists, two different agendas, the only thing they both have in common is that they play guitar, rock n roll, (at times) dress rather infeminately, and Prince more than once has praised Bowie.

I do believe there is also a documentary with that same stitle, "The Spirit Molecule" that is accessible on Netflix or Hulu. Can't remember which one exactly, but pretty sure its Netflix. Must be by that same researcher.

Interesting...I always see a vivid green surrounding the most vibrant shade of purple that you could imagine, sometimes with a pinpoint of white light in the center when I do my focused meditations.

As for Prince's latest alleged antics, I'm not particularly interested. I'll just wait till he decides to dispense with the silliness since I don't have patience for wild goose chases these days...getting too old for that type of nonsense, I guess.
