Because he is a rude control freak who feels he is better than you. I know that for a fact (well the rude control freak part at least).

My whole life I've dreamed to be like these celebrities and be well known and respected but then I realize, you would have less people to be trusted and always in the spot light and I said heck no lol.

I agree with this. You never outgrow your shyness, no matter how much you are thrust into the public. My mom is the same as Prince, and some people call it arrogance, but its not. Prince can't help it, its who he is. And he puts up a wall because he's afraid to let anyone get close to him.

I'd say he is very humble, not arrogant at all. He shares his stage all the time, and he probably hates it when people fall all over him. He was so shy when all those folks were hollering over him tonight at the Image Awards. You can tell how shy he was too, barely spoke above a whisper. Once you get to know Prince, he is really talkative and playful!

Yes quite normal. I'd say at least 1/2 of the people in this world are very reserve with strangers. Rarely do you meet people that you can say "they never knew a stranger." In most countries around the world, people are extremely reserve until they know you for months or years!

Prince doesn't talk to mere Muggles.
