| I feel that you are never to old or to young to follow your dreams. I am 47 years young and currently persuing a career in catalog and commercial modeling. I have so much love for the arts, I feel mainly because I come from a musical family. I am the niece of George Clinton.Because my uncle is George Clinton I have been able to meet different celebrities through him. I have met Bootsy Collins, Larry Graham (Graham Central Station),Peabo Bryson, Charlie Wilson from The Gap Band and some of the members from Cameo. I also have a passion for singing and dancing. I have studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, salsa and belly dancing. I feel that music can heal your soul in many ways. Music is a universal language and the lyrics in a song can express any emotion that anyone could be feeling at any time. Being a fan of Prince for many years his music always seems to lift me up when I am down. I love his new CD by Prince and Bria. It's amazing that he has worked with my uncle George Clinton. Last year I talked to Greg Boyer the horn player for my uncles band, and occasionally he plays for Prince. I asked him could he help me meet Prince and he said Prince has such tight security. My cousin Tracie ( George Son) Says that he has talked to Prince on many occasions concerning the bible. I cant believe he is actually friends with some of my family. He seems so close but so far. My mother and I met Larry and Tina Graham, we ate dinner together and they attended our Christian Meeting. Prince if you are reading this, Tell Larry and Tina Graham and Uncle George that we send our love ( George's sister and neice). Sometimes my family tease me and say that you will never meet prince. but one of my aunts told me to keep hope alive and believe in your dreams. I'm so proud of prince he has always been so talented. Even though he has everything. I've always sense a deep sadness inside of him. But I always knew he had a spiritual side by some of his lyrics in some of his past songs. when I look at him I think of the scripture "This is what some of you were" meaning that a person can change. Now he seems to be so happy inside and out. People do change, it is true, as he stated in one of his song, He looks better with time.Some people may try to discourage you but just remember only God can judge. | Hobbies: | I love to travel and meet different people. I've been to various islands, Beverly Hills, Hollywood,L.A, New Jersey, New York, Washington and I absolutely love Florida and going to Disney World. I also love going to the beach. The beach is a place that I go to escape all of my past pains. I have discovered that you are never too old or never to young to follow your dreams. I've been through alot in my life that has caused me to push my dreams to the side. Because I am a caring person I have always put others before myself. But I have learned that although it is ok to help others you must also take care of yourself. In order to truly be loved you must first learn to love yourself. Through all of my pains and life experiences I am trying to learn from my mistakes and I am trying hard not to repeat them. I have always loved spending time with my family and friends. I try to put God first because through him you can get through anything. I am doing a lot of soul searching and at the age of 47 I am learning how to love myself and I am not looking for love, instead I'll let love find me. I finally feel free to be me and to follow my dreams because you are never too old, if you truly believe. Remember outer beauty is nothing without inner beauty. Inner beauty will take you a long way in life. Always remember where you came from and that success is nothing without someone to share it with. |
