^ Great, but the "Thieves... - Part II" is not included.

it was on the Japanese-only 3" CD-Single.

I love this era of Prince. It's somewhat like a adventure into "Love" Love is pretty much the theme in many of the songs. He exercised it in "Graffiti Bridge" "Everyone's looking for LOVE" "LOVE if you are there come save me, from all this cold despair" (Thieves In The Temple) "It's just around the corner it's just around the block, this LOVE that Ive been waiting for" (Still would stand all time) "She said LOVE me" (Joy in repetition) "There will be peace for those who LOVE God a lot.."(Elephants & flowers) OK..SO these songs with love do not fully illustrate LOVE being the message but I've always seen Graffiti Bridge considered more of a gospel album than Lovesexy..I love the both of them in terms of music, fashion, message, and all other details. This era is one I sometimes could have lasted until the the Emancipation era. BUT then again.NOT. It came at the right time for me Haha, It's definitely one of my favorite era's. The more I look at the pictures and everything within the music and detail, I am more proud to be a 90's Guy! Haha, ALSO the nude Tour is awesome. I am saying all of this without even seeing the movie..Haha..I've heard the movie was a major fail. BUT I don't think it would change my views of the era as a whole, I am going to see it soon and see what will my view then.BUT as of now..it's still one of my favorites! smile

It's Button Therapy, Baby!

Release It (performed by The Time) (Prince, Morris Day, Levi Seacer, Jr.) – 3:54

Yo Stella, if U think I'm afraid of U
Grace, if U so much as think I can't do the do
Girl, if U dream I came 2 jerk around
U'd better wake up and release it!
(1,2)
Party people in the crib get hyped
Let's get this party funkin' right!
Come on! {x2}
(yeah) {repeat throughout song}

(Release it)
Listen 2 me now, release it
Come, come, come on, release it!

Whose crib is this?
My crib!
Whose wine U drinkin'?
Mine!
Who asked your ugly ass what time it was?
Nobody!
We doing fine!
Take it all off!
Bass - I need the funk in my face
I can't stand tight asses in my place
Let's get hype, y'all - Release it!

(Release it)
What time it is?
Band!
(Time 2 get sleazy up in here)
Mary Sweet Mother Jesus! Mmm! {sample from "The Walk"}
(Talk that talk, Morris)

Oh Stella, I know U came alone
Cuz ain't just any man qualified 2 take U home
Me?
No I'm not a man, Jerome!
He's an adventure
Oh - somebody slap me!
I don't know
Party people in the crib get hyped {x2}
Release it - yes!
(Release it)

Jerome! (Yo?) When this solo's through
Jerome! (Morris?) Find me a Stella to rap 2 (Yes!)

Whose beat is this?
My beat!
Whose horns are these blowing?
Mine!
Aw, who asked your dumb ass how to catch a groove?
Nobody!
We doing the do
Jerome! (Yes?)
Whose Stella is this? (My Stella) {x2}
Then what's she doing over here with me? (Uhh, uhh)
What's she doing over here with me?
Who told U that women like men with no money? (Pfft... right!)
Release it, boy!
Go'n Stella, dance!
Say man, back up, give me some room!
Dance!
Shake it like a peckerwood!

(Release it!)

Over and over and over and over and over
Your girlfriends told ya that I'm the rover
But I'm here 2 scold ya
That if U live alone
Then we can bone!
Gimme a number 2 phone - U grown!
And I am so
If U say no, instead of cryin', I'll keep tryin' (Cryin', tryin')
Until U're dyin' 2 have me 4 your own (Dyin')

So peep Stella, peep Stella
If U think that I'm afraid of U (Do it, MD!)
If U think that I'm afraid of U (Rap 2 her!)
If U think that I can't do the do (Yeah, papa!)
If U think that I can't do the do (Wooo!)
If U think I came 2 jerk around (Go'n say it!)
U better wake up, Stella (Wake up!)
This is my town!

(Release it)
Man, let them drums kick
Let's get the hell out of here! (Let's do it, yo)
(Release it)
Motherfucker, get yo ass out of my way - hahahaha!
(Release it)

Morris and The Time sing “Release It”, which they do get to finish. The crowd at the club, which started off booing Morris ends up cheering him as he leaves. He then urinates on a plant before leaving, lighting said plant on fire as he goes. Again, it makes no sense.

A Positive Place
Recorded at Larrabee Studios in October, 1990, this cut was to be on the "NPG" maxi single and features Robin Power on vocals. The fairly monotonous number segues from "My Tree" and describes themes presented in Graffiti Bridge. The song leads into "Come Outside And Play".

A Positive Place

Think from a positive positive place
And eliminate the negative base
Think from a positive positive place
And eliminate the negative base

If U think from a positive place
And try hard 2 eliminate the negative base
Then all the many colors runnin' round this world
Would create an unstoppable race
So come 2gether my brother and love one another
And let's make this a peaceful place
4 all the children 2 enjoy, every small girl and boy
This land we must not waste

CHORUS:
Think from a positive positive place
And eliminate the negative base
Think from a positive positive place
And eliminate the negative base
Think from a positive positive place
And eliminate the negative base
Think from a positive positive place
And eliminate the negative base

Negative is darkness, positive is light
Our communities are dying, the families are not tight
Parents get 2gether let's do this right (Let's do this right)
So our future is strong enough 2 win this fight

CHORUS

The enemy is darkness, God is light
Jealousy, envy, narrow-minded weary
Prejudice, bigotry, arrogance, leery
Vicious minds, soul unkind surely needs 2 feel thee

CHORUS
(Ooh, ohh) {repeat in background}

(New power, yeah)

(Clap your hands and stomp your feet) {"I No" sample} {fade out}
U want me 2 what?
(Clap your hands and stomp your feet)
Yo, what?
