I wasn't really referring to that thread. But lol

Love this piece.

Firstly, the way the initial distorted blues guitar musically morphs into the beautiful music following, and we R then hearing melodies Prince has never used before.

VERY reminiscent of traditional Italian music.

I'm also hearing something reminiscent of Stevie Wonder's 'Secret Life of Plants'.

I hadn't thought of that, but actually yeah I can hear it

I love it. I've said this before, but the music sounds (to me) like Prince is coming out of a very dark place and into the light. Onto a sun-drenched patio with a warm breeze...a dry, citrus-laced Spanish white...and a dish of olives... cool

On behalf of all the orgers too afraid to post this because you might go Sybil on their asses: purse

Thats what I thought... The smell of olives, the clatter of plates, shots of "table for 2".

It's Muzak you hear at San Marcos Restaraunt

The opening of it is bad-ass - wish he would've continued down that path. Then it opens up into Venus De Milo II: Electric Boogaloo. Pass.

I would agree with that. When it gets weepy, I want to vomit!
