lol this is getting interesting!

Alecia Keys as Morris's daughter/ a Succesful Jazz Pianist and music teacher, very mature and thinks that Prince and Morris need to end the feud because they accomplished alot together. Unknown to Morris while he tutors Prince's daughter Prince jams with Alecia (piano freeform jazz) whenever he's in town.

clapping lol keep those great ideas comin!

That is a good point, the veru discussion goes against his baseline personality which could suggest financial difficulities. American is funny, when you break through that image is emblazoned on the publics mind and they will always associate you with that. ask any non prince fan who is basically mainstream what word comes to mind when they think of prince and they will say purple, thinslicing like this gets to the root of what they would buy-however the word purple was never again used as a central theme in a song or album since purple rain. If prince is in trouble, and sees no other way out look for him the play the purple card he's been holding pat all these years.

arrrrgghh Stop dreaming guys!
We all know its gonna star Larry Graham and Bri and prince dressed up as multiple nasty people stealing his music through illegal downloads, being made a slave to record companies and the moral of the story will be if you turn JW the whole world will be wonderful and nice like it is for him lol.

It'll be an excuse to "preach the good news" as thats his job as a JW. Yawn it wont sell to mass markets cos todays kids thinks he's gay, weird and a whole host of other circus nasties along with the fact half of them dont know who he is and he dont got the appeal of either vampires or a half dressed woman lol also his txt language is so out of date too.

It'll end up in the vault or worse as lameflow3r year 2! free download (sorry crap streaming) of Prince new feature length movie for which you can get 1st digs on back row tickets to the premier on pluto for a mean $500 a piece! (free purple watchtower to all who sign up before it opens, ps you may never get any of this cos my T&C says so)

another story idea that I came up with. It's just a basic idea, the story needs to be fleshed out a little more.Perhaps you guys can help me? lol

In the sequel,we discover that The Kid never made it big.He never became a star.Instead,he is now a blues musician, playing in a small bar.His life is a mess these days.He recently divorced and his mother passed away.He feels alone and depressed, which is reflected in the sad, bluesy songs that he sings every night at the bar.

One night, while performing,he notices a woman sittng in the audience who is trying to be discreet. She is wearing a big hat, dark shades and looks like she is trying to not be noticed. She later meets him backstage. She's a big superstar female singer. She likes The Kid's music and immediately offers him a job in her band.He would be the lead guitarist. He accepts and prepares to go on tour with her.

The problem is...she very bitchy,"diva-ish",acting as if the world revolves around her.The Kid has many arguments with her,but eventually he begins to understand her.The two of them eventually fall in love and soon begin collaborating in the studio together. They both begin to realize that they truly need each other.Through her,The Kid gets a chance to see what superstardom and fame is all about, and he sees that it's not all its cracked up to be.He also discovers that the lady's manager is ripping her off and (for unknown reasons) trying to destroy her career. Will The Kid be able to save her before it's too late? Why is the manager so evil? There's a big secret that will soon be exposed.

I was thinking that Vanessa Williams should play the role. The songs that she sings in the film will,of course,be Prince compositions.

SoulAlive i thought you were my collaborator but you betrayed our vision for fineass Mayte319 lol. Damn You!!! LOL lol This sequel must have remnats and a few themes from the original, let Vanessa play Apples and keep the original casting of Riahhna as his daughter-she is the ticket to young viewers plus a new generation can get a clue as to where she was influenced. Her concert footage will be hot, racy and similair to the energy of prince live shows of the 80's , his sets stripped down-bluesy with alot of crazy guitar work and special effects. Stick with the plan!!! LOL

lol.In that new idea that I proposed,I just think that Vanessa would be perfect for that particular role.I bet she can play a bitchy,self-absorded female diva lol Imagine "The Kid" having to deal with a woman like that...lol...a strong, independent woman that he CAN'T control. It would be the complete opposite of Purple Rain, lol.

Should we insert a subplot about Prince's teenage son? A son that he didn't even know about? He's on tour with Vanessa's character, and a young man attends the concert. He sneaks backstage to finally meet his "dad".

Holding your breath would be a better alternative than watching Prince's "acting" in Graffiti Bridge.

I think as far as directors that he could work with if this project should happen. Spike Lee! Spike directed the "Money don't matter tonight" video and I think he would be great. And yes let someone else write the dialogue (lol) Forrest Wittaker is another one and Lee Daniels
