Lady GaGa is very talented in her own right, and I love her so much, but she is very new to this big music industry. If anything I hope she does not follow the same road as Prince. I think GaGa is a lot like Prince right now as far as her music being way ahead of her. Prince and GaGa's early careers seem to be playing out the same way to me. Prince was very misunderstood and generally unliked, GaGa is having to fight that same battle.

You know...many, many people have been compared to Prince, and none have panned out.

There is only one.

I am interested in following her career, but once she slips up, I'm out.

BTW, I think Prince had his first slip up this week....Purple n Gold.

Not again Lady HoHo is just a whore, the reason why is she so succesful is the amount of brand names in her videos..her music doesn't touch people in the way like Prince's music does. Lilly Allen is much more better and she's doing top class pop.

I find it really odd, when people say GaGa and others are reeeeally talented ("Go look at youtube .. she plays piano and stuff", is something I've heard a lot) because they play an instrument. Is it me, or shouldn't a musician at least play ONE instrument in order to be a musician? Are you "talented" just because you pass the most fundemental rule in music? Is it talented to play an instrument, with no mention to whether you actually do it well? Is that what the musical landscape is today .. a scene where you are extraordinary if you can "actually" play an instrument? Depressing.
