And I want to add that my feeling is:
Lady Gaga feels as not genuine, just a slick, well overthought commercial act!!! (but that is just my humble personal opinion wink)

Obviously you haven't really bothered to pay attention to Lady Gaga. If you did, you wouldn't write her off so easily...

I have paid attention to her, because I kept seeing her name on here, and THEN I wrote her off.
I agree with the people who say they don't like her stuff. shrug

It's not that you haven't paid attention to her, it's that you've failed to realize she's the real deal.
She's a visionist, pianist, she writes and produces her own stuff, sings live, the list goes on.
I first thought she was another Brittney, but behold- she is the most farthest thing away from another "product" of the industry

Not again mad Lady HoHo is just a whore, the reason why is she so succesful is the amount of brand names in her videos..her music doesn't touch people in the way like Prince's music does. Lilly Allen is much more better and she's doing top class pop.

Yes, I dislike Lady HoHo.

if you have watched any of her interviews were she discribes her music u wouldnt think shes a hoho prince wore thongs leather and crap so why cant she, and not that im saying in anyway that i like her better than prince but has prince had 4/5 consecutive number ones let alone from one single album, even if she is a hoho shes a talented one

I'm going to write it again:"the reason why is she so succesful is the amount of brand names in her videos".

Even if I don't know it's Gagna on the radio, it annoys the sh.t out of me and turn it off!!!!! And I really get sick if I think or hear this popopopoopopokerface shit!!!!!

But everybody's got his own taste....and that's good (I just don't like Lady HaHa and that is my right too, but as I said, we'll see how she develops...at this point she's just a big "hype" to me)!

Please lets not act like Gaga is the second coming or something. I am impressed with her as an entertainer, I think she's a good performer and her music is catchy, but I really don't see anything exceptional whatsoever about Lady Gaga. Not her voice, which i've heard many compare her to Christina Aguilera but Gaga isn't nearly as talented of a singer. Her dancing is nothing to write home about, neither is her music. It's catchy, but that's it. She writes and produces so good on her, not many these days do that, but it's about quality. Just because she writes her music doesn't mean it's good. In many ways, Gaga is in fact a product of the industry. Just like Britney and others, she's mainly concerned with scoring hits and selling millions. Everything is so contrived with Lady Gaga. I just don't see her as some great artist.

There's really not a lot of substance where Gaga is concerned as far I as I can tell. I enjoy her songs and watching her perform, but Gaga to me is someone who is a classic case of "A jack of all trades, but master at none". But we'll see what happens in the future, but i'm not convinced as of right now that she'll have longevity in this business.

And as for comparing her to Prince? I can tell the OP was just trying to bait people with that one. Clearly, they weren't serious. At least I hope not lol.
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

1. Both wear or have worn outlandish costumes.
2. Both share a distinctive sound in their music.
3. Both are weird as hell!!!!!
4. Both are/were into the androdynous look.
5. Both play instrunents: Lady Gaga plays piano and Prince plays everything!
6. Lastly, both wear makeup except Prince looks better in his!:)Just kidding! P.S.
I think Lady Gaga's talent far supercedes Madonnas smile during her heyday.

And the key is Lady Gaga doesn't. I realize it takes a lot of talent and hardwork to play everything, but I think a female Prince or a Prince of this generation would have to be a musician, songwriter and producer first. All the instrict stuff is not as vital. She's talented, but frankly she is more on par with Madonna. She always needs a co-producer and writer, doesn't she?
