I think that Condition Of The Heart could've used some touch ups.

I feel Purple Rain wouldve sounded cooler if it sounded like the demo in the movie with the Linn Drum.

That song is one of the classics of his career. The lyrics, the vibe...amazing. And the piano intro is INCREDIBLE.

"Condition of the Heart" is excellent.

I Like the introduction&Build up of the song but overall the vocals&Vibe seem like a bad LSD trip IMHO like much of that Album.Some strange herb in the Paisley Studio with that Project IMHO.

Right on brother! I've never understood why people like Condition of the Heart. From the first time I heard it, I thought it was BORING and it never grew on me.

And you are the first person to agree with me about the album version of Purple Rain. I love that song live, but the album version is just not a very good performance. I don't know if it is the vocals or the music, but that is the weakest song on the album. It's still one of Prince's best songs, just not the album version.

Anyway, great minds think alike.

"Condition Of The Heart" is one of Prince's classics. From beginning 2 end, it is pure genius at work...

I don't normally comment on other's opinions of Prince's work, cuz, u know, 2 each his own, but on this one, I gotta speak out.

It's one of his best... I truly love this one.

what? u dont like condition or purple rain...anyone who cannot feel the vibes in these songs...is not in touch w/the man...there is so much feeling and emotion in both tracks...just like power fantastic...

2nd I DO CREATE my own music, if u looked in the Musicans threads u'd find my name often, I have about 80 songs i have made with drum machine & keyboards, about 300 since i was 8 years old.

3rd, the Purple Rain that had the DRUM TRACK in it. When Prince played the instrumental in his tape deck, u remember? I though that was cool.

although those songs were made like 20 years ago it dont matter, im just TALKIN! Dont 4get that
