Update: Things may have changed in a matter of a few hours yesterday and the Friday date may be wrong now with that change, but both events previously discussed, i.e. a book release party and an afterparty for fans will be happening at this time. Make no mistake, when our NY contact advised of us of a performance on Friday, it was true at the time and posted in good faith. The number one most important thing right now is NY should be seeing Prince soon.-Dr.FB

Oh it's cool. I had the opportunity of seeing him perform at Butters in NYC in 2006 and in Vegas, Washington, Nokia, NY, Minneapolis during 2006-2007, so I'm happy for those opportunities. It may be a private book release party for celebs only anyway and who knows if Prince wants fans at the book release party.

Maybe he'll do a whole weekend and invite fans on Saturday too (hint!). I don't know anybody who would come to NYC and perform for just one day, especially with all the NY, NJ, PA, CT, Long Island, NY fans...no way!

Anyway, I'll get joy from reading all the reports. Hope you get a chance to go and if you do, I'll look forward to reading your report.

Will someone please let me know where this will be if they find out before Friday. I probably wont even go if I do find out. I'm not that desperate...it'd be nice to know where he'll be and end up feeling bad cuz I missed it.
