Extra Loveable has it's moments. So does Automatic and of course "Lady Cab Driver" with visions of sexual violence. Yes. I think there was an obvious S&M kinda theme running through a lot of the circa 1982 stuff and especially 1999.
I think something that you pointed in one of your 1999 themed threads was the line in Little Red Corvette
"A body like yours ought to be in jail" with the word "chains" played at the same time as "jail." I guess the line was SUPPOSE to have jail as the dominate word, but I always heard chains more than jail. Anyways...
I mean, thats some shit right there, putting something that creepy into such a major, mainstream song. But just like I said earlier, he's a crazy MF.

Damn ..u actually remember my 1999 themed threads?...That was quite awhile ago Tora.... Cool.... Good memory. But yeah, that's what always blew my mind about that album. The cat was NOT fucking around when he made that record. He's got so much going on that still to this day, I don't think many people are hip to what he was doing. Or saying. It's his best album to me, without question. And one of the best albums to ever be released in "pop" music.
