'DO YOURSELF A FAVOR' appreciation Wow. Probably one of his best unreleased songs. Wait, scratch that, it's one of his best pre-SOTT songs. Perfect pop. He wasn't being gimmicky with this one (like he does with a lot of his songs), and I just love it. Amazing what someone can do with 2 chords and a good melody. When is this song from. Sounds like it could be a Dirty Mind or Controversy track. Though it's not as stripped down as most DM songs, but neither was Lisa.
Anyway, great song. He should've put it on whatever album it was intended for. It would be so great on Controversy in place of Jack U Off, I think. [Edited 7/6/08 4:01am] Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

Original title 'If You See Me'; it's on that Minneapolis Genius re-issue. Prince's version is waaay better, though, but I suppose that was the reason for recording it; just to sho he could.

Prince's version is definately my favourite. I like Jesse's version too, esp. the extended, but Prince's take is just too cool.

Absolutely love this song too. Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

LOVE IT! He really nailed it on this one.
I like Jesse's too, but the Prince one is the one. "Hyperactive when I was small, Hyperactive now I'm grown, Hyperactive 'till I'm dead and gone"
