It's wild that Prince would come in at number 7. lol

I can't believe the fools who placed above Prince: Green Day and Christina Aguilera??? WTF, there's no way that they performed better than Prince. Who the hell was casting the votes for this show, I wonder? hrmph

Okay how in the hell did Shania Twain place above people like Prince, James Brown, Marvin Gaye & MJ? That's just wrong. Christina's performance was good though, I can't lie but I don't think she should be in the top 3.

I remember Whitney's performance. It was the best I've ever seen.
The entire room deservedly gave her a standing ovation.

She should have been #1 and Prince/Beyonce should have been #2.

The Prince and Bey combination is hard to beat. Only Whitney could do it.

Green Day as #1 is LAUGHABLE.

And I'm sure even Christina would admit she should not be number 3.

Definitely!! Makes me wonder if the votes were rigged or something. I can't understand why or how Green Day could beat out Prince, and even Michael Jackson. It makes no damn sense, because their music sounds like crap.

Well as usual, Prince got robbed. First, why was his performance #7? That shit was talked about for the rest of 2004 and all it got was 7? eek . Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it made it to the top 10, which I expected but I expected it to go top 5 at least. And then all the stuff in front of it. I may loathe Michael Jackson today but that performance was incredible. I will give props to Christina A cause she did James Brown well with her tribute but why was that #3? Why was Shania Twain looking like a ho at #5? And why in the fuck did Green Day make #1 for that performance? What the fuck was that shit about? The whole thing wound up being anti climatic for me. Happy yet pissed all at once.

They didn't. I think they started to play it when Prince and Beyonce were singing Baby, I'm a Star and let it play. Beyonce was talking through some of the performance too. She gave an account of what led to her duet with Prince. Just some FYI for the rest of you watching later tonight.

Viewers got to determine the play list via online voting. Interviews with the musicians will air in conjunction with their televised performances.

So basicaly anyone who had a computer. There was a thread on it here during September til the end of October, which I believe was when the poll was closed.

Hey! They showed a few seconds of his 85 performance. So they DO have a hi-quality one. I'd luv to have seen that instead. oh well, he's coming up next for my timezone. right after this saab commercial, i hope. oh, wait, theres a disneyland commercial, shoot.

I think the show is good, but most of these rankings are wack!!
