How do you sggest Prince should fund tours and producing the vast amount of music he does? He pays MAJOR bills and cds don't grow on trees either, together with artwork/inlays, distribution etc. He don't always have that same backing he once had with WB.

yo, i personally like the concept of a small lounge act in a club (as music should be heard) than in a huge arena with awful acoustics. verizon's also in mad competition with the iphone, so it's kind of a complement that they chose him to help catapult the phone (they could of picked anyone), if you're gonna say he sold out to verizon, you might as well say he sold out to CBS with the superbowl. i think the commercial is sweet because i randomly get to hear a prince song pop up.

a true sellout is vitamin water, it was bought by coca cola! Prince is hardly a sell out since he's relatively low key when it comes to the media. One deal with Verizon hardly merits him to selling out. Are you're more upset that he's teamed up with a big corperation for this one? (cause I can understand that)

Prince, Jimi and Miles are/were musicial GENIUSES.

Jimi and Miles never did ads for cell phones. Prince did an ad for cell phones and made a ton of money and exposure from it.

Prince never did drugs. Jimi and Miles did drugs and it screwed up their lives.

In the big scheme of things I think Prince made the better decision.
