Printable oh man- Prince and James Brown on the SAME stage?!! Hello!! What I wouldn't give to be there- thats so awesome, even if they aren't performing. It's unlikely that there'll be an afterparty apart from the one at Alexandra Palace itself. Rumour has it that it will be a quick stopover to graciously scoop his award and leave very soon after for the gig in Vegas on Wednesday.

In the Sun today Dermot O'Leary is quoted as saying Prince is NOT scheduled to sing "but his people have said 'keep his guitar by the stage', so im hoping"...
I bought 2 tickets off ebay the other day. They still havent arrived! bastard ebay rip-off merchants... I live in Crouch End, a stone's throw away from the gig... So close and yet so far! The Hall of Fame afterparty is at Cafe de Paris. Its a private party, no tickets are for sale.

Basically, if they carried on asking the British public to vote on this, as they did in the first one, Prince would never get in. Clowns such as Robbie Williams and Michael Jackson did from the public vote.
That tells me something about the majority of British taste in music and culture in general? In my opinion, it's in the gutter! I think they had to introduce 'a panel' to select inducties because I think we'd have had Take That and Mcfly in there already, instead of the likes of Pink Floyd and Bob Marley (which they have... Thank god). | |

This reminds me of June from marching band (KSU). She loves MJ just as much as I love PRINCE!!! But, June and I are acutally alike in many of ways. It is when it comes to music, then we have issues...deep serious issues. But, I personally think ppl like MJ only for Thriller and that's it besides Bad. I think MJ was better when he was in Jackson 5. Whatever did happened to his brothers? Sorry, I feel not in a good mood. MJ of all ppl!! Why not Prince? Did he received an award? Cuz you guys are confussing the hell out of me.  | |

Ermm, On Tuesday Prince received an award from Beyonce as entry into the UK Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in London. He did not perform. He did not meet and greet the fans. On Wednesday, MJ received an award from Beyonce for Thriller's 25th anniversary at the World Music Awards, also in London. It was said he was going to perform Thriller live, in the end he only did 2 verses of We Are The World with a choir of children. He did not meet and greet the fans. What's confusing about that?
