I bought 3121 yesterday, and honestly, I think it's one of Prince's best albums. But going through this thread, I guess it's safer saying you're a terrorist or somethin', 'cause man, how hard it is to please the die-hard Prince fan..!

And the constant whining along of the lines of "Is this the guy who made Purple Rain..?" is getting so annoying... Why compare his current material to his maximum opus, which has become a cultural classic over the last 22 years..? Be realistic: compare it to albums like Parade or Lovesexy (which constitude Prince's AVERAGE creative capabilities), and I think 3121 compares very, very well.
