but with the guitars..and the passion..its a minor complaint. i love the background twins...i prefer T'amar as a background singer though..she brings nothing new to the world of music.. unless she is a tranny or something..... she is pretty..but for voice is just there...unless she is a tranny or something... ----- Enough with the Tranny nonsense.

POSITIVITY!!! Have you had your... ahhhh forget it. Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

1st performance = on point. the chicks gettin their "proud mary" on in the background kinna annoyed me, but hey. at least the song was pretty good.

"Fury" is fucking sublime, the synth part combined with the lyrical guitar all the way through make it sound sooo good, bring on the new album.

So I finally see Tamar...not that impressed. Ledisi shoulda been the one he took under his wing. Or hell, Leela James - BOTH have better range than Tamar. "Free yo mind and yo ass will follow" - George Clinton

The first song was OK. Then I waited through all those stale comedy skits to find that the second song was someone else's, and a dull as hell one at that. I turned the TV off in the middle of her song and turned on my music. Andy has spoken dammitt.

but i have a question.....did anyone catch what he said at the end of Tamar's song? He said the 3121...march 21...Beutiful,loved,blessed....and...what was the other thing. sounded to me like he said MAY 2nd. what could that be??? if he did say may 2nd, i bet it has something to do with the Tour. Nah, it's the release date of Tamar's album.

Great thanks! I've just been lurking around reading for the past year. I'm definitely ready to jump back in == Prince is kicking all kinds of ass now and I couldn't be happier. Peace, David

performances over and over again. I won't argue influential relevance, or whether the back-up singers were good or not, or whether this is a return to form. Ultimately, if you are a fan of Prince, these last two years have been amazing. And the man is smart. Just like the Grammies ushering(no pun) in Musicology, this performance on SNL will help kick start 3121. Come on now! That guitar work on Fury?!! The man still has it. Go Prince! And any haters out there - that's ok, I won't be missing you when I work up my sweat and lose my voice during the upcoming tour. Stay home! We don't need you. Jeez, enough with the hataz B.S. already folks, it's just an opinion. Besides - dont y'all know that 'one man's gloom is another man's glory?' livewire said: BananaCologne said: heh. I think it's redundant to keep praising the performance and geeking out over it, so that's exactly what I'll do. awesome show, great songs, in my ears those are the best radio songs he's had a hand in for a while. Buckle up for the storm coming next month. EXPENSIVE SHIT

Here here I agree, she was singing too loud and he struggled to be heard, the song was funky, great beat and great synthesizer, reminded me of Dr. Fink. The first song rocked though, man the end of that song with the guitar was awesome; hope you all heard the songs in stereo. Always dream and go after your dreams, NEVER give up!!

FURY ROCKS!!!!! WELL....if Tamar has a good memory, once Prince puts you out there it's only for a moment, then when you get close to the stars you're on your own. Other than the look a like Ikette Background singers, and Prince's bad skin, it was great to see him, he was awesome; now that we heard 3 songs from the cd, let's hope the rest of the songs rock. Hopefully he is back with some funk, as Larry Graham sang years ago: 'we've been waiting for so long.' Always dream and go after your dreams, NEVER give up!!
