Prince's Worst Ballad IMHO, "Diamonds and Pearls". "Dogshit and Pearls", more like. Crap lyrics, corny melody, constipated guitar...he's written some of the greatest ballads of all time, but this ain't one of them....

I can't agree. I know a little bit about music so check this out in the song: The bass line and the drums play 2gether. What I mean is that the drummer almost plays the same rhythm as the bass player. | |

I dunno, I've always liked Diamonds and Pearls. The lyrics are bland, but that don't affect the song too much IMO. One of the many good Prince hits, definately. | |

Adore boring? It's too slow and old school for me. I mostly prefer modern(ish) music, 80's and onwards. I'm a modernaire just like ol' Dez. |
