Princes song Lovesexy. Does anyone else think that putting two words together to make a new one is slightly shit? It's like Insania all over again. Prince don't stoop to the levels of peter andre, please

Didn't you say the same thing about Musicology on another thread?. Musicology, unlike Insania or Lovesexy is neither a melange of words nor a series of words bolted together, it is in fact a word in it's own right and has been in the dictionary for a considerable amount of time before Prince decided to use it.

Anyway, I sort of agree with you, making up words is not a particularly clever trick, but this is hardly Prince's worst example of it. What about Hundalasiliah ? (if you ever see one try to take a picture, I'd love to see what one looks like), or Anotherloverholenyohead, to name but two examples of Prince's linguistic daftness. I don't think Lovesexy is as lame as some of his other invented words, and not nearly as lame as Peter Andre's Insania. Plus it also quite nicely explains the concept behind the music on said album.
And anyway Peter Andre was still in school when Prince invented Lovesexy, so who's stooping to whose level ?
