NightGod said: Here's an interesting question...who is playing the drums on Irresistable Bitch? I always thought it was Prince, but after hearing Morris play on Cloreen Baconskin, I think it could be Morris.
Actually it IS Prince. That bridge is really jazzy too. One of my favorite b-sides. I think it's interesting that people dog on Bobby Z all the time. I have audio of the Dirty Mind tour when Bobby was playing the skins, and he sounds good to me. Someone else mentioned his work on the Parade tour, and I have to agree, he did an excellent job. He balanced playing drum machines and cymbals with real playing and kept it tight as hell. Watch the '86 birthday show in Detroit if you're in doubt.
All I know is, when I saw the group back in the 80s he didn't leave much of an impression on me. Although he was a solid time keeper. And a lot of the material on Prince albums back then had either a drum machine programmed by Prince, Sheila E. on drums (Take Me With You and Pop Life as examples) or Prince on drums. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

A tie between Sheila E and Michael B This is not music, this is a trip
No, it's not a drug, it's something more hip Don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine Purple music does the same to my brain
