It seems Mayte was very young and still reeling from the loss of her child... she didn't know the influence building around her concering her relationship/marriage to Prince. People have insunuated that when Mayte didn't convert to JW, that Larry was very supportive of encouraging his "baby brother" to find a mate that would not be a yoke on Prince's neck on his journey to JW conversion. Enter Mani, who wanted to "learn more about JW" and was glad to accompany her boss to JW classes. This allowed P and Mani to connect. I just don't get the part about him cleaning up his lyrics. To me he just doesn't say things straight out. Nobody can tell me that Bria wrote Here I Come. That is about the same topic Darling Nikki is except he doesn't use the WORD masturbation. I wouldn't want my 7 year old daughter singing that song. Then there is the DANCE 4ME song. There is not an elder in any Kingdom Hall that would appreciate his use of the word Hallelujah in a song about watching a women dance so sexy it makes him hot. I don't know what Larry does but he deffinately isn't doing a good job of checking lyrics. I say if your going to sing songs about sex sing your best sex songs. Even The rainbow children had a song about a woman making circles around the "toy" while he offered to sing for her. This is not something that most JW's want their kids listening to, If I am going to sin by listen to dirty unholy lyrics I want to spend my sin on the best dirty lyrics money can buy!!!!! That would be his earlier works. | |
