The Family is back!!! Seen this over on the GBN MySpace page and now it's on Housequake too. This was Jesse's post:
As some of you know, I run the GBNetwork My Space page (www.myspace.com/girlbrosnetwork) and we help promote Wendy and Lisa. Well today I heard from Susannah and St Paul and they wanted me to let everyone know that the FAMILY has reunited! They are putting out a new record and are going out on the road and they will "work the family record the way it should have been worked awhile back." We will put out all the details as soon as they become available. Anyone who caught them at the Family Jamm knows, that this group sounds better than ever and this is going to be A LOT OF FUN to watch unfold! A big WELCOME BACK to the Family!!!!" This is going to be amazing! Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council. | |

So, so, so excited about the prospect. I was not a fan of the Family until I saw them perform at the Family Jamm. They blew me away. Can't wait to hear the fruits of their reunion and  to see them live again.

Oh that is so cool they are going to perform again.!!! Its about time. I hope that they get enough support to do a mini-tour across the USA as it said in that message that they are going to be on the road so I am assuming that they are going to perform outside of Cali as well. I am definately going to buy their album. | |

Uh... okay. Is this a slam at Prince? Um, Prince created The Family. Prince wrote them their one and only hit... so...  Nice way to announce a "come back". Sounds kinda bitter to me.
