Bafta awards are on tonight (I think in London)...if the winners and media luvvies wanna party somewhere, wouldn't be surprised if they bowl up at the Koko tonight. Funk n Roll was in there somewhere, and there was a bit of Nasty Girl in the sampler set. Another ecstatic show. Well worth the £70. But I think the venue and Prince's management need to confirm prices before the queues start. Quite a few people left when, as they got to the front, the higher price was confirmed. A shame that they had to wait several hours before being able to make a decision. This is not a fun game for people to play. As for me, I think that as £70 looks like it is going to be the price from now on, I have had my fill of this escapade. Still a total of £80 for four hours of funking and rolling (including SBE for me last week) - fuckin ace. As for those who haven't experienced this awesomeness yet- it will be worth the wait. It's been too long since you've had your ass kicked properly:

That's the annoying thing, the third may well be the killer. But I was there at 11.30am today , the first show finished around 9pm and the setlist was similar to what I've seen - I didn't go to SBE but feel a bit shortchanged that I paid £70! Now on the sofa... | |
