Fuck me sideways. Its confirmed too!

No other artist on planet would do this. Hopefully moaning will stop now. Good luck to everyone today can't make it myself as up in Sheffield and flying out to Prague later to give Mrs M a well earned holiday but back Fri night and am going hardcore Sat and intend to be in Manchester by 8am Sat morning

No other artist would make his fans queue for 10-14 hours in the cold with no tickets

Only Prince would suggest he was actually Prince. Come to think of it, I did meet Prince at the O2, so SquirrelMeat could actually be Prince.

Depends pn your definition of late versus the curfew.

You honestly think they'd kick the people out that have queued up since 7am to let in the ones who showed up at 6pm?? One show surely.

I didn't think they'd kick people out twice.

We were thinking about trying for show 3 but I am now thinking that a lot of people from shows 1 and 2 will go back in the queue for show 2 and 3. I dunno, it's so hard being a Prince fan.

RIP sad

I can't see how they can fit three shows into the time frame, and I think they are over estimating the amount who will turn up. 2 shows is my guess.

If it takes minimum 1 hour to get peeps in, then the show, then get them out again, thats gotta be roughly 2:30 hrs, doors at 6, 2nd show couldnt start before 9-9:30? 2 shows can cater for 2.8k people, cant see more than that turning up for short shows.

But thats just MHO.

I plan to hit Q for just after 6ish might catch 1st (V doubtfull), but def catch 2nd show me thinks.

Mr Hayes doesn't remember meeting you. You must be a bull shitter. But its ok, if you let me in the line later.

Mind you....its only Koko on twitter so far mentioning 3 shows, I think I would rather hear details from 3rdeyegirl or the PR girl smile SBE gave out £70 per show which was wrong for whatever reason, the accoustic set the venue stated only 1 show, and they was wrong, why does it have to be this damn unorganised.......oh sorry forgot is P we r talking about:-)

SBE said £70 so that a few thousand people didn't turn up and so they would avoid the chaose of the Electric Ballroom queue. There were reports from SBE staff that it was always £10 but they were told to officially say £70.

Koko just confirmed hes playing 3 shows, doors open at 6.

Three shows on one short nigth!?

The MF must be serious about high-energy short shows without sampler sets and/or Purple Rain extended solo's.

Say he has until 23:00.

Means he has less than five hours.

So count on one hour-plus or so show, the rest is 45 minutes or so to empty/fill the room.

Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

The situation for Koko is

1. Fans queuing for hours hoping it will be £10 to find it's £70 this time, can't afford it so leave. Or it is £10 so have the time of their lives.

2. Casual twats queuing/jumping in thinking it will be £10 and either getting in for that and having a good time or jumping ship when they hear it's really £70.

3. Fans that can't afford the time/money to travel on the off-chance they will get in at a sensible price so staying away.

Despite today being announced on Friday (so good notice given) there is still a severe lack of information and organisation.

However, for those that are near and don't have commitments and have time to wait around all day and don't care what the ticket prices are it's fine. So good luck to them!

Thanks. Gonna drive up shortly and join the line. Am I right in thinking that once in the queue my Mrs or I can (in turn) go to get snacks/drinks etc. From reading on here, things have seemed more civilized since the EB fiasco!

I should think it would be no problem to take toilet breaks etc. People were doing that at EB, that wasn't the problem.

3 shows??? Surely that is not good. Well, good in that if you go you're pretty much guaranteed to get in but i cant see these shows lasting much more than an hour. I would be pretty pissed off now if i was queuing there all day to find that out! And the people who have been there longest will probably get the shortest show of the 3. Hope for everyones sake whos going it changes to 2. Poor organising again from what i can see. i'm gonna hold on for one big show at Brixton i think!!

I would love to sad
Unfortunately I have family to look after so I need notice. And tickets, not a vague possibility.
It's a bastard. But I'm just not willing to jump on a plane and have all the complications and then maybe get a mini-show.. Nope.
Have a blast at it!

Who is regulating the numbers in the queue?

Not to start anything, but I just heard Ronnie's may be cancelled? Can anyone confirm this or is it someone speaking out their 'hind again?

My thoughts exactly. I'm lucky that I was able to get to 3 so far, so can afford to wait n see what happens. I only live up the road and I'm not rushing to q for hours until price and number of shows is confirmed..

I've got mates I'm trying to convince to come for the gig of their lives.. ain't gonna happen for £70 for 70minutes!!

Also now holding out for one big pre sold show at Brixton... #tktdbrixton #1show1night
