It's so WEIRD to see Prince in an afro, but after all this time, I'm digging the weird!

It's kinda fun not knowing quite what to expect in Las Vegas.

I'm loving this vibe and I'm very excited for my shows! excited

He actually looks cool, rather than wacky for the first time in years.

In the 20+ years of following Prince I've seen his hair in a multitude of styles. The rare 'fro would make it's way in the mix, but nothing compaired to what it is now.

It's taking a little getting use to, for me, so it's weird. I'm not using "cool" to describe it at this time.

I'm firmly planted in denial

Review – Prince at the Vogue TThere was also a horny ballad complete with a stage candle (and footage of candles on the video screen backdrop).

That was a little ditty known as "When We're Dancing Slow And Close."

And he didn't edit it. And don't you pretend like you don't know the part. eek

Looks like alot of people are getting their wish. Must not be a JW in good standing anymore.

It's not so much you can't sing and do that stuff as a JW, but with a mongamous partner not a different groupies each night. wink

Prince is a musician not a lifestyle.

Check out this very positive review with complete set list:http://www.djskee.com/post/48143159936/prince-3rdeyegirl-live-out-loud-opening-night(via Dr Funkenberry http://www.drfunkenberry....#comments)

Please note that DJ Skee is embedded media.

Seems to me that no one who actually paid for their ticket to attend has a problem with the setlist. Personally I think it is great, new music, no sampler set, minimal hits, hopefully not too many more covers, fully fleshed out songs and rocking out so close to you even if your not in the 1st rows.

Though I do suspect some adjustment will probbaly be made for the bigger venue in Las Vegas.

Prince is a musician not a lifestyle.

Me neither. It was awesome, right?
