The photo is ok... Its the part after the inner circle and the catwalk - no photo shoping here smile

The photographer held up a tripod with camera on top together with a remote to trigger the camera.

I saw him taking these pics.

One newspaper has asked people to send in the photos.

There are a few photos that show the purple rain effect.

Prince's concert saturday night was awesome; such a shame it was cut short by the rain, but it was still a good experience and people seemed to be in a very good mood despite the weather.

Chaka Khan, on the other hand, delivered a horrible performance. Seriously, she should stop performing: her voice is shot, on high notes she tends to strain and scream, and in the lower register her diction and intonation often fail her. On top of that, she seemed uncomfortable and akward on the stage.

Just watched a clip of the final song of the night. Great fun! Who's the girl dancing behind Prince during Alphabet St.? The one in the short purple dress. At one point she actually takes the liberty of playing Princes keyboard! I was rather impressed by that. I don't think I would have had the nerve smile

The wooh is on the one!

To me, the NPG Music Festival, even though I was not there, is one of Prince's greatest achievements.

We've been with him when the parting w/ the mainstream started, when he went online, through his independence - but now, look at how Prince is able to rally thousands of people around live music.

Not only to the other musicians and bands that supported him, but he is continuously uplifting new stars such as John Blackwell, Shelby, Andy and Ida.

I respect you Prince.

You mean friday 5th?

Not so much. Bits and pieces of everything.

More NPG than P, BTW.

Soundcheck on the 6th?

The first day of the festival?

Before 13:00?

How come I didn't hear that one? (and I was not alone then and there)
