Hi sunflower7,

That's still not fair. Not everyone can afford V.I.P, and even if I could, those tickets were not available on ticket master the day of pre-sale and the day of the sales. I woke up way before hand and could not score tickets, I had to go on EBAY. All I can do is hope I guess..

There's none available for the MSG shows right now either. Also, I wonder wihich VIP ticket purchasers were picked..the ones that paid $750 or the $500 ticket purchasers, and since someone said it was only about 50 people, apparently not all who bought VIP tix got in.

??????

I was in VIP 3, no mention or buzz. I have VIP for four shows, problem is they are all in VIP 3 & 4. So far it appears all the treatment is given to VIP 1 as far as dancing on stage and perhaps this private VIP party.

No sour grapes but it never fails there is always something on almost every tour that leaves the diehard $$$$upporter out in the cold. Probably a Livenation or friends of whomever (bring back the NPG MUsic Club, where the fans were Royalty) . Not complaining, thankful I am able to enjoy great seats and a nice show.

Hopefully MSG is smarter than IZOD and has waiter service for the tables, what a missed opportunity. Alot is missing at the IZOD in terms of concessions.

I'm just hoping that there wasn't many selections by the area, and that that room was the only option. Hopefully New York will have more availibilty, so he can make an exception.

I WANT MY AFTER SHOW DAMN IT!!!!!! PRINCE IF YOUR READING THIS MAKE IT HAPPEN, AND NOT JUST ONLY FOR THOSE RICH V.I.P'ERS!!!!!!!!!! sexy

Were you part of the $500 or $750 VIP ticketholders, and did you get any extras during the concert other than the VIP package that came with the ticket? OR...did you get no more out of it than those who purchased $200 and lower tix? Then again, maybe the VIP 1 section are for his family members/friends/celebs/folks in the industry? You never know.

2elijah, I don't think I know U but I do Love U. U really stay on top of things and I njoy your insight. Thank U. Just had 2 say that.

I paid 1,500. VIP for the two seats and am going to four shows (ouch!). Unfortunately, other than a REAL close front row, 6' away with just a velvet rope and an annoying floor based spot light that semi blocked my view until I shifted my chair as I was right by Renato we got nothing more than a laminated pass & ticket (good for nothing...which we were pre-warned). Thought we might have the opportunity to dance on stage but NO, would've been nice and that stage could def. hold more than they brought up (prob. security concerns??) no biggie been there done that and its already a lifetime memory.

Hoping some additional consideration will be provided to ALL VIP Sections especially after hearing about this little private after-show. On the plus side we did love the seating arrangement and spacious floor dancing room plus getting drenched with purple star confetti (first thoughts when that happened was "Baby your the purple star" LOL). If lastnight is as good as it gets? That's fine but it would be nice to receive a little more priveleges if they become available to just a select few then they should be available to all who are investing this type of money.

If anyone from Livenation or P's camp is reading, org note me....we can talk!!!!!! As a 30 year plus fan who could've sung most every song backwards lastnight I might have a good idea or two (like many of us here at the org).

I was in section 11 row D with my daughter, she almost made it onto stage. These were originally $500 seats, but I was able to exchange for them when they sold them as regular seats. Sad to say, but these seats had better views than the VIP $750 seats, those were just too close to the stage to be able to see much, even standing up, especially the ones right on the stage itself. As rickyprynce said, there was no waiter service for them or anything. While I was fortunate, it kind of sucks that people paid $750.00 or $500.00 for a seat that I got for the regular price and there views were worse and there were no perks that night. All dancers as he said were from that section. That quadrant going all the way up in general is the place to be for these concerts. I would rather have my 300 level seats where they are for MSG than to be in a similar section on the back side of the stage where he rarely went, or even on the other side. The only advantage on the other side is the piano, but he is basically stationary at the piano when he was there (he did climb on it a couple of times) and we could see that fine from our side. Most all of the guitar playing was in our quadrant.

lol Why thank you. I asked because I figured paying $500 or $750 is a lot, and if there was an afterparty planned where some VIP members were going to be allowed in, then maybe that should have been one of the perks LiveNation could have added to the VIP tix. At least that would have been known ahead of time, and those who paid less would not have expected that as an offer with their tickets. May not sound fair, but there would be no argument or question--after all, most times when you pay more for something, there's a possibility you're offered more for your buck. It's not even a complaint really, but it's only natural to wonder how some VIP members got into an afterparty, who paid the same VIP prices, as others who were not offered entry to the same function or maybe the latter was just not aware of it.

Now of course, if the afterparty was a private event where only VIP members or those invited to the afterparty, consisted of and was limited to the artist's family members/close friends/celebrities/industry associates, etc., then that's a whole different ballgame altogether, and would have nothing to do with the average/casual or diehard fan.

Good that you made that point, because maybe he needs to work all areas of the stage, when he's not sitting on the piano, since the entire audience is not centered by the piano, and it makes for a happier audience, being fair to all sides. Just sayin'biggrin
