I have a really weird request: does anyone want to trade 5 $30 tickets for my $200 Sect. 10 floor ticket? I think I'd prefer going with my friends over going alone.

Anyone? I know it's a huge shot in the dark, I'll take 4 if you have them as well.

Anyone received their tix for 12/14? I got my tickets for the 15th, but the ones for the 14th haven't showed up yet. I bought both pairs during the Presale, but the status for the 14th pair just say that they are in the "process of printing". Anyone else in a similar situation? I hate that I have to wait 48 hours before the show before I can report the issue, because, most likely, it will turn into a Will Call situation. I need the hard tickets man! I mean, doesn't EVERYBODY post their ticket stubs on a big bulletin board on their wall?

Maybe someone who went to one of the recent shows in Europe or Abu Dabi can answer that one for us! biggrin

He hasn't been using that stage from the pics I've seen posted here. People that went to the O2 shows would probably know. Anyone?

Methinks Prince is going to do something different with the Symbol stage, instead of just using the one from 2007.

Anyway, got my tickets for the first MSG show and hopefully will be getting tickets to the second show!

Just looked, if you put a single ticket one comes up in section 40, if you put 2 tickets, sold out.

If its a similar symbol stage to that used in 2007, then Prince spends 90% of his time on the long staight. He occasionally ventures to the "horn" and "Curl" sides, and only went round the circle of the smybol (where the band sit) once or twice per show. Of the 90% he spends on the straight part, he spend nearly all of that at the neck, where it joins the round section. So bascially, he is in the middle section.

It lead to a lot of complains from people near the circle who could not see Prince for huge portions of the show. In fact, because the stage is so high (over 6 feet) it was better to be slightly back from the front.

The symbol stage looks great, but it would actually work far better being at the end of the arena, because its very one sided the way he chooses to perform.

People NOT on the floor have the best seats! (according to the O2 experience)

It depends where on the floor you are. Either side of the "arrowhead", a few rows back was probably the best place, or in the first few rows on the sides, particularly the "horn" side.

The key is not to be behind the mid point on the circle side, if you have floor seats.

SquirrelMeat is right... PLUS by being floor level and at the sides and at the two 'arms'... you have a good chance of being invited on stage to dance!!!

At one of the O2 gigs I was unfortunate enough to be at the head of the symbol.. thats basically the back of the stage. You do get some really wonderful views though... and as most people will testify, it is an absolutely awesome experience - no matter WHERE you sit/stand!!

ENJOY!!!!!

Still Waiting for Detroit dates to be announced. 2011 is set to be a great year for concerts. Sade's touring too. Seeing Prince and Sade in the same year is going to be simply grand... cool

Looks like they have opened up some of the Purple package tickets (the $500.00) ones at regular prices for the IZOD shows. I guess it paid to wait to buy tickets for NJ. sections 12 and 13 were available last night for all three dates at regular ticket prices.

Have been the last few days because I needed another ticket and got a better one than when they went on sale. Kind of sucks though-only bright spot is it's not good for the scalpers.

By the way, I just called Ticketmaster and they changed my seats to better ones--go for it everybody. now in section 12, row D for the 14th!!!!!!!!

She gave me a song and dance about how that block was reserved and the stipulations say "no exchanges".

Did you do Apollo or LiveNation? I did Apollo.
