I always thought that opening night was always a bad time to go to a concert because i felt the artist and the band is off when they start their first night. I guess that doesn't have anything to do with Prince.

But has he "rehearsed" at the IZOD center in Europe?

Every venue is different and it's possible after the first night, he could find some things to improve for this particular place.

And he has enough experience with the symbol stage.

Tickets are also available on Ticketmaster for the 12/29 show at MSG for the 115 section. It's the $200.00 tix, but you have to choose "Best Available" in order to see it come up.

Interestingly those were available yesterday (Dec. 1) afternoon. Nobody bought them until some point today. I'm hoping for something better than behind the band.

I called my friend and told her to get one and she did. Even though we won't be sitting together we're gonna have a great time there.

i just got an email from Ticketmaster that the 12/14 show was cancelled.

call ticketmaster directly if u want a refund instead of tix to 12/15! i already got a ticket to 12/15!! shes got me on hold...they are gonna check location of new seat

Damn! I was counting down to the 14th to start the 2 week Prince-a-thon! Guess I'll have to wait all the way till the 18th now!

Well, that likely means Prince will be hanging around NYC for the month. Maybe there will be some smaller gigs somewhere.

It is almost 1AM in NYC and I was just checking out what seats are available for the 12/15 show. Floor, Section 7 popped up and section 101. I wonder how these seats are available, if exchanges are being made for the 12/14 shows. I also wonder why,when they offered to exchange my 12/14 Section 7 seats, I wasn't offered these Section 7 seats. i was offered Section 106 instead. I will be in Section 1 on the 15th, so I am happy. I got my refund for the 14th and I told them they better not even think of messing with my section 1 seats.

I hate 2 say this, but I'm guessing ticket sales 4 the 3 gigs @ IZOD weren't good and so they held back on offering certain seating in case they needed to cxl a gig... Kinda $ucks if thats the case... People make plans once they confirm they own tickets and it doesnt show much respect to those people (me being one of them)... I cant make the 15th so maybe (if it takes place) I'll go TUESDAY 1/18..

It is nice for local people to change dates and venues but for us who had to shell out money to get affordable plane tickets, hotel rooms, transportation, food, etc., we can't afford to change plane dates for new concert dates. I'm going to lose money. I can only go see one concert now on the 15th even though I have 17th tix also. The cost of changing plane dates is too high. It isn't right to cancel two weeks before the performance on the 14th...

If anyone who want to go to the show at MSG on Jan. 18th,

You should start counting the sell date at ticketmaster.com, and buy the ticket before the god damn scalpers!
