Hi folks...as I speak fluent french I called them at Live Nation yesterday and I got on the phone kind a receptionnist or so...she was quite disappointed when I asked her about support acts being programmed somewhere else just said "must be an error" and I think I didn't manage the call as I might SORRY...was so embarrassed

Well she tried to justify the all thing by saying there must be an error in Mint's website and added that they (Live Nation ) are going to check this out.
As for Larry she was so shocked she didn't even say a word on it.

I don't know what's going on...I think nobody will get a straight answer

It appears that at the address mentioned at the MainSquare festival site, we need to call up France Leduc Productions. They are linked to Live Nation.

Ask for the manager and explain the doubts about the programming.

Google for that name and "live nation" to confirm.

The key is how many standard tickets they have sold. That will be the indicator for the promoters.

I'm gonna hazard a guess and say:

1. Prince hasn't been a 'pop' act for a long time, meaning P has to rely on his die hard, mainly 'old-school' fans to make up ticket sales.

3. Since the 02 shows in 2007, he's done very little to ingratiate himself to those die hard fans, what with the Lotusflow3r fiasco(s), Croke Park etc.

4. So who's actually left to buy tickets? Us, the few who actually live near enough to the venue that it's worth taking the risk.

But I for one felt like a chump after Croke Park, and felt like I'd never 'forgive' Prince, but surprise surprise that selective memory kicked in as soon as I saw the show announced.

The worse thing about all of it is that usually I'd be going crazy with glee looking forward to it, but I can't. That used to be half the fun of booking concert tickets - the anticipation...

I think the problem is france.
lets be honest, they are not known for there music.
They only get a crowd in paris, maybe too lazy to travel?

I got an email off the Livenation(its from the uk one, i sent a email to them and france aswell). Its just a small response back and but nothing of any importance, the rest of it is just the jargon:
