The time has come to get this thing rollin. I have had some people contact me about spreading some holiday cheer, like last year. I was not so sure how successful it was, but most of the participants seemed to have been pleased.

Here is the deal, If you want to participate, just send me your name, org id, and a shipping address. Only I will have this info and whomever your secret santa is. I will not give it to anyone else or send weird stuff to you in the mail. I will get all the names together, throw them in a hat, and pair people up. You are not exchanging gifts with each other (that is where the SECRET part comes in). Meaning, I might have Matt's name but Matt will have Lisa's name, etc.)

After the names are paired, I will send you the name and address of your secret person. DO NOT TELL THE PERSON THAT YOU HAVE THEIR NAME. (I am sorry, but someone will have to get my name and it will not be much of a secret, but I still have much love) You will send this person a gift(s), no later than Dec. 15. The gift is up to you, handmade card/gift, cds, a picture of yourself, prince related or not, gift card, book, ornament, journal, something about yourself, whatever, use your imagination. Something around $20. You will also put, along with your gift, your org name, id, real name, holiday greeting, so they will know who it is from. If you forget, and someone gets a gift with no name, I can tell you who it is from. This is a way to meet other orgers. I know that people have all sorts of religious beliefs so this is just an 'org holiday gift swap.'

After the Holidays I will start a new thread for everyone to post what they received. Please send your items on or before Dec. 15 to make sure it arrives in time. (In the US, I would suggest a delivery confirmation for $.45). Don't say 'I have ordered you something but it hasn't come in yet.' Also, you might get an orger that is from another country, so keep that in mind.

I got nothing last year, was a bit bitter, but I know that what I gave my SS was cool and it represented me. I can senD a total stranger a cool gift. I sent a nice card, hummingbird ornament, some Princely items, etc. You don't have to spend much but you don't want to be CHEAP either. It will have your name attached. I thought it would be cool to get to know an orger, maybe with their picture, and something about them instead of something I wanted. You know, what do you give a stranger? With so must bad stuff in the world, its time to do something thats nice.

The org has also been a bit mean lately and so I took off. Until I got the org notes from some friends about the secret santa thing, I came back and hopefully things will change. I doesn't help that someone put a ONE star on the thread. Most people are good at heart.
