Sweeny is the main character a book by Elizabeth Hand called Waking the Moon. It's a really tripped out book about a really strange love triangle amongst many other things. Anyway at one point Sweeny is in a taxi cab and The Beautiful Ones comes on the radio and she says "So this is what it's like to get old, you drive around in taxi cabs and cry when Prince comes on the radio." I Don't know I'm not old, I'm only 24, but I related to her and that quote so that's my name!

originally my name was LOVER but the symbol kinda got left out when i was chatting in the chatrooms on yahoo, and everyone just started calling me LOVER...

NuPwrSoul--NO it is not a tribute to the album!!! It's been my AOL screen name since 96, based on the concept first introduced by Prince in Lovesexy in '88 as a new way of describing his music, and the song "Newpower Soul" from the NPG's "Exodus" album. When I first signed up with AOL they limited the number of characters you could have in a screen name... so I had to drop some vowels and replace some letters.

LillianLaughs is the name of a song I wrote. Bad choice, because I'm really male. Sometimes when people seem to be sexist to me, I wish my org name were Big Dangerous Diderick or something, wich is actually pretty sexist of me I'm afraid .

Chose the avatar because of the disarming smile. I think it worked, but I'm starting to wonder if some people aren't beginning to see the smile as a sign of arrogance ().
