PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT - NO SPOILERS (I assume):

http://collider.com/when-...W5LjMWZm08

About 55 minutes or so into the movie, there’s a scene in the rain in Tokyo. You’ve seen it in the trailer. When it starts raining, that’s your moment. You’ve got about five minutes to make it back. If you don’t see this scene, you’ll be able to figure out what happens in it. It’s not a bad scene, but it’s just your best opportunity to use the restroom.

ZOMG there's a whole industry around when to go to the bathroom during movies:

http://runpee.com/?fbclid...F1ZMNtKW2s

We’ve all been there, enjoying a movie, when nature calls. It starts with a whisper, then becomes a shout. Before you know it, you’re not watching the movie so much as watching for a chance to make a mad dash to the restroom.

The RunPee app takes the guesswork out of this for you. We watch every wide release movie to find the best scenes you can use, if you need to run and pee.

Saw it yesterday. And any movie that can get you emotionally involved is a good film. I was certainly emotionally involved. For what this movie is and the audience it’s aimed at, it’s a really good film.

The opening scene alone before the opening credits alone got me emotionally involved. I loved that this movie was more than just superhero action. It has humor and a heart like all Marvel movies. I’m not going to say it’s perfect, but it’s a massive massive work worthy of all the money it’s going to make.

RUNPEE.COM UPDATE - IMPORTANT!!!

You may have noticed: The RunPee App is not working.

You have no idea how disappointing this is for me personally. I'm the creator and sole developer of the app. It all falls on me, good and bad. I thought everything was in good order for the increased traffic the app would get for Avengers: Endgame, then a perfect storm of events occured and everything crashed.

It may help a little, but here's the best Peetime we have for Avengers: Endgame.

1:54 minutes into the movie. (you have 4 minutes)

Cue: Hawkeye wakes up in a puddle of water.
[This is a great Peetime. There's no plot development, and no humor.]

Synopsis: obviously I can't say here, because SPOILER, but essentially the Avengers argue about something. You'll understand when you see the movie.

So, Emma - is the above scene a better time to go, should one feel the need?

No. Don’t come in late and don’t go to the restroom before the opening scene as it sets up one character’s motivation.

But Other than that, honestly, you can go to the restroom whenever nature calls. I advise you go whenever you have the urge rather than hurt yourself. lol

This is not a tight cerebral movie where every word or action is crucial to comprehension of the plot. You’ll be able to get back to speed after any bathroom break at any point in the movie.

It’s not common to see a three hour movie. Especially a mainstream one aimed at young audiences. I can only think of a few, Hateful 8 and Lawrence of Arabia are ones that comes to mind.

It's not absolutely perfect but for my money, it's the best superhero movie, probably ever. But to get the most out of it, you'd have to be very familiar with what has gone before. Of course, anyone should be able to enjoy it. But there's a lot, and I mean A LOT, of very small references to the previous movies and even TV shows of the MCU. Including a few nice little cameos which I'm sure will go over most people's heads, even those who have seen all 21 of the other movies. There was one in particular that I let out a little yelp of joy. And nobody else there even knew who he was, even after I had explained it.

The only part I didn't like was, and again, I'll stay as spoiler free as I can, the part near the end with the women. If you've seen the movie, you'll know what I mean. It was totally unnecessary and did more harm than good.

I know exactly what you’re talking about, but other than noticing, and acknowledging what it was, I felt it was needed if we’re ever going to move forward as a society. I had no problem with that whatsoever. If you can accept a talking raccoon and a tree and a flying robot man and teen spider boy then I see no problem.
There are far more egregious things if I was nitpicking. A LOT more, but this is escapist fun moviegoing that allows you to just go along for the ride and hopefully appeal and inspire as many people as possible.

But...but...but unless one is on the second row, one is ruining the movie for ALL the people directly in front of them. In a large theater, that could be potentially 10 or 15 rows, or even more if you're at an IMAX theater.

And oh my gosh we haven't even address the subjects of ponding, or the natural spreading of liquids as they seek their own level.

Quit making me post about peeing!

I thought it was fantastic... I might trim 10 to 15 mins but I would also LOVE a 4 hour version...

I was at a Kroger and some kids were walking around saying things about it... people were getting annoyed but it was not clear if it was over them being a bit loud or spoliers... I told one to make up fake spoilers....

That scene with the women was not needed. At all. I don't know about any other female but personally, I hate when movies do things like that. By making such a big deal of it, all they're doing is patronising their audience. I'd rather the movie have zero female presence than have those kinds of scenes.

I agree it should be more natural and not “made to stand out”. I can agree there, but honestly if we can have these dudes do things no dude could ever do, then why not women?

i absolutely loved it. it was fun, thrilling, & genuinely moving. made me cry four times by my count.

i agree that moment with the women at the end was needless pandering, & i thought the long climactic scene at the end, while probably the best of its kind in the mcu so far, still had some of the things i find i don't like in those moments - chaos, feeling of watching pixels instead of people. but that aside, i simply couldn't have asked for anything more from it.

The theater was packed with fan boys and girls. (not an empty seat) They cheered, laughed, gasped and got really quiet, I heard quite a few people crying and sniffing lol
Nice crowed, no one was annoying. You know theaters get.

It's not the fact that the women are doing things. It's how that moment plays out. It's patronising. They might as well have patted every female in the audience on the head and said "there there, this one's for you".

How old is your niece? My daughter is 7 and I'm taking her to see it today. I know the 3 hour runtime won't be an issue with her. The only thing I'm worried about is (MINOR SPOILER) Captain Marvel's lack of screen time.
