So.....has anybody of you heard about that Logan Paul thing? If you're familiar with this Vine Trend you might as well be familiar with Logan Paul. Now, if defending a rapist (King Bach) wasn't bad enough, Logan Paul decided to vlog from the suicide forrest in Japan. Ever heard of this forrest? People get in there to kill themselves.
So he was vlogging his trip and, during the whole video was like: "This is all fun ya'll". No that's not a direct quote, but, it's pretty much what he was trying to say. Yeah Logan, vlogging from a forrest where people kill themselves is so much fun.
Him and his dumbass friend went in there and they really found a dead body from a man who hung himself. And what did Logan Paul do? He didn't call the cops, he started laughing and didn't stop filming the body.
While he recieved some backlash there are a lot of people who actually defend him, saying things like: "All ya'll haters are trying is to put him down" and: "Dead people got no rights," Or: "It's not that bad, don't be such pussys."
So, I was taught to respect everyone, even the dead. And I got some questions guys. First of all: "What the fuck is wrong with this guy, going into the forrest and filming a dead body while laughing like someone told the greatest joke ever."
But what really pissed me off, were the reactions from many, many people. Seriously Just try to imagine it's your Dad, Mom, brother, sister, cousin, granny, grandpa, auntie, somebody films their dead body and shows it to the world, way before your family even recieves the news that their dead. And on top of that, he's laughing at their dead body. Seems not so funny anymore, right?
The last question is: What happened to the world, that people started to laugh at a man who hung himself. How dumb, coldhearted and fucked up do you have to be to degrade this lost soul? This man was probably so lonely that he didn't see any light, and these fuckers don't even take their time to think about the pain he felt and about the pain his family feels right now.
It's so disgusting, and Logan, if by chance, you're reading this, I don't give a shit about your excuses, you didn't raise awereness for suicide, you don't have to exploit a dead body to make it real. I really, sincerely, hope that YouTube will delete your account, you are really a disgrace for our kind. If I could, I'd personally fly you over to his family and let everyone smack the shit out of your head.
You're the embodiment of a privileged rich kid who's lost touch with reality. But, I believe Karma's gonna fuck you back in the ass, dry. [Edited 1/3/18 8:36am]

Read about it, yes. These lines from an The Atlantic article stuck out for me. . "We stuck a smartphone in every 14-year-old’s hand and told them it could make them famous. Little wonder that the kids who won that lottery don’t know when to turn the camera off. Little wonder that before the backlash, Paul’s video was going viral. The internet’s only currency is attention." . Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

Nope not heard of him. I will soon I'm sure. I guess he got the attention he wanted if the video is going viral. Means many people want to watch it. Not my thing. I think it's called de-sensitizing, the more you are introduced to that kind of stuff the less sensitive you become to it. But I'm not into psychology so there is probably more to it than that.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean with "Nothing will happen and everything will stay exactly as is with just more viewers...", but assuming that I understand it correctly - I don't think so. The audience and money that modern technology can get you of course can change behaviour, on an individual level and in general. Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

You don't think #metoo should happen and/or has the potential to bring positive change? Anyway, I think I'm a little more optimistic (just a little) about our ability to learn. And wring behaviour should be called out wether or not "no one will care about it in a couple of days". Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

I mostly agree and see your point. I still think it has potential to bring change and awareness. Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

Whistling is harassment and needs to be illegal. Same thing as shouting at someone on the sidewalk while you drive by. You can say hello to women without being so aggressive.

It causes depression and anxiety in many women, and causes a lot of them to feel unsafe in public. So fuck anyone that thinks it's ok.

I think you're just looking at a part of what (you think) it is and how it started. I also don't think that most men can understand or are trying to understand how it can be for women in everyday life, at work etc. Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
You go live there and tell us how it is, eh? Oh I forgot you ain't got a damn right over there. And by the way, are you a woman? If so, it's even more fucked up for you to write this. How about we let every woman decide what she finds offensive? And I wouldn't find it great to get whistled at everyday, because these guys think of women as an object. Just a pussy to smash. That's what they think.

Uhm, them choosing "professions that are typically safer, cleaner and more flexible" (BTW, what are those) surely does not account for it sufficiently at all. You think women in general have the same chances in worklife has men do? No way. Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?
