It really was! nod I was rooting for "Hidden Figures" so when I heard Faye Dunaway announce it was "La La Land" I turned my tv off, (thankfully I was DVR'ing for my hubby) and went into the kitchen, got some ice water and then went straight to my computer, which I'd left opened to my Twitter feed. So as soon as I sat down, all I started seeing was #Oscars #WhatTheHellJust Happened. I ran back to the TV like damn what did I miss and could not believe what was going on. falloff

And can show some love up in here for Janelle Monea's bad ass! Not only for looking like a true Q.U.E.E.N in her beautifully royal ensemble...

She was in not one but TWO of the movies nominated for Best Picture and was up on that stage in all of her REGAL fabulousness in the eventual winning Best Picture! clapping

I was feelin' for Emma last night I saw her interview a few times afterwards and it was like the whole thing was placed on her to make light of it. What else could she say, they just kept shoving the mike at her?
