Fuck the CFL. The old USFL was far more exciting than that shit. I'd rather watch Vanderbilt play Kentucky in college football than to watch the CFL.

CFL is not college football lol

phunkdaddy knows that. I guess for College he hates when Vanderbilt plays Kentucky but rather watch that then CFL.

Here is exactly why the Canadian Football League (CFL) is a tougher, more fun, more exciting brand of football (admitting that football is more accurately that game that the entire WORLD plays much better than North Americans, and we should rightly change the name of our games to something like Passball) than the National Football League (NFL).

1) The NFL has much better recievers than the CFL, but they generally play in much warmer temperatures, and everyone knows it is harder to catch a football in cold weather than hot. So, the CFL has the edge in toughness.

2) In the NFL the coach can end the game by running on the field with several seconds to play, while in the CFL that NEVER happens. Many games in the CFL are decided by the very last play of the game, sometimes a field goal with zero seconds on the clock because the game ended on a penalty. Thus, CFL games have more potential to be more exciting.

3) The NFL has 22 men on the field, the CFL has 24 men on the field. More chance for fumble recoveries, a large lumbering man running his ass off to get in the end zone to score the ony touchdown of his entire life, which is the most heartwarming play in football.

4) The NFL has end zones that are 10 yards deep, while the CFL has end zones that are 20 yards deep. Women like men with depth. Therefore the NFL are girlie men.

5) In the CFL the field is 65 yards wide, while in the NFL the field is only 53.5 yards wide. The CFL field is more pleasing to women. Suck it, Yank Boys.

6) In the CFL the field is 110 yards long while in the NFL the field is only 100 yards long. NFL is easier to run, therefore the NFL players are WUSSIES.

7) In the NFL a Black Man chose to risk his career by protesting his brothers getting shot for no good reason by white policemen by simply not standing up during the playing of a song, and the League did not join him in the protest, not even his fellow Black Players. HUGE, COWARDLY, FAIL. Displayed the RACISM of marquee white players like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning.

8) In the CFL the championship game, the Grey Cup, is played in November in Canada, and not always in the covered stadiums of Toronto and Vancouver, but in harsh, freezing conditionns in cities like Hamilton, Regina and Winnipeg, one of the coldest cities in the world. And people sit in the stands and watch the whole game and have a great time.

9) Finally, and this is the biggest reason why the NFL is a sucky game, is the fact that in the NFL the offence has 4 downs to make 10 yards, while in the CFL the offence has 3 downs to make 10 yards. CASE CLOSED. THE CFL IS TOUGHER, MORE FUN AND MORE EXCITING THAN THE NFL.

*****To add insult to injury, isn't it stupid that Canadians chose to call their league the CANADIAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE (very logical) while the brain dead Americans chose to merge their National and American Leagues and NOT CALL IT THE AMERICAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE, BUT THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE.*****

This message was posted in fun by me, 7thday, a Canadian, please do not declare war on us. We're your best friends, remember? Canadians are just like Americans, but without the guns. We love you and want you to progress to peace, love and understanding of all the rest of the world.

1) In case you didn't know, the CFL season runs from late June to the first week of November.

The NFL season runs September thru February.

If you think summertime in Canada is colder than the middle of winter in the US, then I can't help you. Why don't you sit in the crowd of a Packers, Bears, Vikings or Patriots home game in December or January and then get back to me on how much "warmer" it is than CFL games. lol

2) NFL games are often won and lost on the last play of the game with time expiring, no different than CFL.

3) Fewer players = more exciting offense. You're a Canadian, you should know that from watching hockey where there's a far better chance of scoring 4-on-4 or 3-on-3 than 5-on-5. The more open the field, the more chance to create offensive opportunities.

4) Smaller endzones make scoring more challenging, thus more exciting. Imagine if hockey players were allowed to put da puck in da net with a goal that is twice the size, where's the challenge?

5) Women like contact. The wider the field, the less contact. Advantage: NFL

6) See #5

7) The black man to which you are referring was a backup quarterback on the verge of being released, that's why he started making his "statement". That's what selfish people do, nothing unless/until it benefits them.

8) Again, attend a Packers or Vikings or Bears or Patriots home game in December or January. Then get back to me.

9) One fewer down makes it tougher on the offense, but easier on the defense, therefore it's a wash.

10) AFL was already taken by the American Federation of Labor, which was founded in 1886 ... long before the NFL came into existence.

You're oh-for-ten lol

1) This just proves how dumb the NFL is. If you're in the United States, where states like Wisconsin are freezing cold in November, December and January, wouldn't it make more sense to start the NFL season in May? Just in the interest of fairness? Don't the Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys have an unfair advantage weather-wise? The CFL could also start in May, but I've been told by a sportswriter that more people come to games after Labour Day. I really don't know why football fans want to sit out in the cold.

2) Yes, but again, NO ONE in the CFL is allowed to stop the game with 20 seconds to go by having the Coach run on the field with all the players. That happens all the time in the NFL and NEVER in the CFL.

7) I wasn't referring to any specific player.

8) Again, dumb and preventable, and unfair among the warm climate teams vs the cold climate teams. The dumb GMs in both the NFL and CFL have to get together and realize that football is most comfortable for everyone if it were only played from Spring to early Fall.

9) Nope. Three downs to make ten yards = hard. Four downs to make ten yards = easier.

10) CBS stands for both the Columbia Broadcasting System and Canadian Blood Services. Its not a problem for two oganizations to have the same letters. No one would confuse the American Football League with the American Federation of Labour.
