Red Sox are already down 0-4 in game 2. Why can't David Price pitch in the postseason? I remember he was great as a reliever when Tampa Bay made it to the World Series in 2008, but ever since then, terrible.

And why is Kershaw not Kershaw when the calendar flips to October? That's okay tho...a less than stellar Kershaw is still better than half the starters in the league...we'll take that W for sure. GO DODGERS

Racial slurs and full beer cans being thrown at players, why does this sort of thing always happen in Toronto?

That sounds more like Philadelphia.

Philly fans are up there in terms of disgusting behavior, probably the worst, but Jays fans - on the rare occasion when there's a huge crowd - are not far behind. I've been to many games up there, this columnist is spot on:

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/...-1.3792757

These incidents are part of a troubling pattern at Blue Jays games when the attendance spikes, as it does for home openers and playoff games. In the deciding game of last year's post-season series against Texas, fans littered the field with debris after a controversial call, causing a lengthy delay. Similar incidents have occurred at home openers, which are typically played before sellout crowds.

Several factors appear to be contributing to the bad behaviour.

With Jays tickets relatively affordable compared to those for Leafs and Raptors games, the Rogers Centre seems to attract a younger crowd. And it's a crowd looking to have a good time. For many, the game appears to be only a backdrop to party.

In a province obsessed with liquor regulation, the Rogers Centre sometimes resembles a free-for-all. If anybody was actually cut off Tuesday night, I didn't see it. It seemed everywhere you looked, somebody was double-fisting a pair of tall cans.

Beyond carding people, is anybody actually monitoring beer sales? Yes, you can only buy two at a time, but in my section alone, at least a dozen clearly intoxicated people continued to return to their seats with fresh rounds.

Actually it was meant to read "Rookie Cleveland Outfielder", as the Indians were in the 1948 World Series (the last time they won).

Remember Ellsbury starting 2007 World Series games as a rookie? wink

He is a headcase, I was very much against his signing.

It's not just postseason games that he's awful, it's big regular season games too. Last week when he was pitching to clinch the division title, he stunk. First game back in Tampa against his former team, he stunk. Nationally televised games, pitched awful. Home opener, pitched awful.

Knowing the Sox could have signed Lester for far less money, it makes me ill.

---- I'm so glad we didn't keep David Price. We currently have 5-6 fantastic pitchers that cost a hell of a lot less than Price and have come through for us numerous times this season.

Way to go Jays! One more win and we can move on.

Of course it's in the context of the Cleveland Indians. That's what the "franchise history" label at the top of the graphic means.

That must be why he doesn't pitch well against the Yankees either.

Yes I think so, although it's hard to tell because the potential division clinching game and many of the nationally televised games were all against the Yankees.

Well the rainout definitely helps us, I think it's going 5 and the only question would be how long Price is kept in during an elimination game. Hopefully if it comes to that, it will be a quick hook.

He's a big reason why they got swept.

He ended his career batting .138 (4 for 29) over his last 9 games. Not good, but he's experienced more than his share of great moments so it's hard to feel sorry for the guy. Time for someone else to be a postseason hero.

Maybe Coco Crisp lol
