Just want to say HI to everyone and introduce myself.

I'm 47, live near Chicago. Been a Prince fan since 1982, when I heard Litttle Red Corvette. I grew up in a farming community where everyone listened to country music....except me. My tastes in music started in the late 70's with various forms of rock music. But once I heard Prince, I knew this was something different and I needed to have that in my life.

I started visiting prince.org to check for news on the remasters announced in 2014. It was a bit depressing for me, because I could tell a lot of people were skeptical and disappointed that these weren't materializing. And I shared those same feelings as well.

Now clearly things are different. Prince.org for me has shifted from a very cool news and celebration site, to a very necessary site for healing, recovery and celebration. And I needed to be a part of that. So please forgive my late arrival to the celebration. I was here everyday reading all your wonderful comments. I hope to be able to contribute the positivity as well!

Btw, my username injuredpinky has to do with my lack of basketball skills. Specifically my inability to properly catch a pass...twice.
