yeah jesus is a cool new character. but he's a 'bad guy' ain't he?

.

cannot believe that first rick ties jesus up loosely, saying ' you'll be out in no time', then brings him home and leaves him, still tied loosely, still out in no time?

.

maybe rick and daryl are trying to recruit him? but, he robbed them. why recruit someone who does that?

.

rick and michonne. hmmm.

.

this is off the track, but when sam went down, bitten by walkers, how come rick didn't decide then and there to make a stand against the walkers ? why did he wait until later, after jessie had fallen too?

.

anyway, rick and michonne. yeah. i actually liked the vibe between them as friends better, but we'll see how it goes. at least we know they are loyal to each other i suppose. why not?

.

kind of a nice, peaceful episode when all is said and done. but, we know that can't last long hey smile

He stealthly stole Rick's keys. He very good at fighting hand to hand. Gets tied up and left at the side of the road and ends up on top of the truck. Can out dodge Daryl in an open field (I found that amusing). Yep, he's a ninja. I think he's a good guy for some reason. shrug

Rick and Michonne, in this world of no hope? 2 of the most prominent most skilled characters hooking up? Spells doom in my book. Somebody's going screw up majorly bad because of feelings. It's cute with Glenn and Maggie because they're not pack leaders they can kind of throw all caution to the wind for their love but Rick and Michonne are 2 of the cornerstones of the group, a lot depends on them plus there's a baby and Carl in the middle of them. Messy. But what do I know the writers can make happen anything they want.

.

i think i like this jesus guy because he didn't shoot daryl when he could have and instead saved him from the walker. blam! but (and I haven't read the graphic novel) i have a feeling he means big trouble one way or another. he would make a great ally, but his loyalty seems elsewhere

.

and even though rick and michonne's affair seems born of necessity rather than standard hollywood style 'love' it's fitting for the new world. good for them for snatching a bit of happiness, so why not? relationships usually spell doom anyway, love is the exploding cigar we choose to smoke, remember? giggle they could make a great family unit, michonne and carl have always had a solid friendship going.

.

if i were on team writers i'd stir things up even more and work in a few UFOs. suggest that maybe the walker virus isn't originally from planet earth.... eek then maybe chris carter could work with them and the two shows (X-Files and Walking Dead) could have crossover episodes, where they run on and offstage in each others' shows through various plot twists.

I like Jesus also, though I haven't read the comics I've gotten the impression he's a positive character which I guess why his scenes with Rick and Daryl come off humorous, he's not a bad guy he's just trying to survive, so we can't hate him too much. He's got skills, that fight scene showed that.

I'm not all bent out of shape about the thing with Rick and Michonne, I know it isn't part of the comics but since they switched it up they can't do it they way it happened there, no other options left actually. I just read something that kind of irked me about what's supposed to happened towards the ending of the series which changed how I viewed the series as a whole, so I'm not all overjoyed about it. But given the natural progression of things it isn't unreal and I can accept it and it doesn't interfere with my viewing enjoyment.

We'll never know how the virus started is what I understand.

Actually he is kind of appealing. Must be that long-haired thing.

Most of the time I get rebellious about obvious manipulation but I'll enjoy this one given the show for what it's worth.

I'm debating blurting it out because, firstly I don't have a reliable source, even though this source has panned out a few times to be true, secondly even if it is true a lot of people don't want to know. As I said it did change my overall view of the show and I don't think others want their views changed.

okay, that's fair. it's your decision. for what it's worth, here is my overall view of the show:

1. the writers are immortals who gained their first practical experience in working with people during the inquisition and their oversight of the spanish dungeons;

.

2. the producers are likely lining up sequels and more prequels to the show because even after the show ends they will never ever let us leave this mental hotel california;

.

3. there are special satellites in the skies above our heads that monitor our collective walking dead fan energy and store it in even more special floating energy bins that are accessed by the producers and writers for furthering their alchemical agenda; and

.

4. there's a good chance us fans should turn the dang show off and never watch another episode, let the characters remain happy up in our heads and pretend that whole thing with carl's eye never happened, thus decreasing our empathic stress levels signficantly.

Romance will continue to bloom in The Walking Dead season 6 episode 11, which airs on 28 February. Not that the new episode will feature less of gore and shockers, but fans awaiting the deadly and brutal villain Negan's appearance, will get a teaser of sorts in the show.

The official synopsis of the upcoming episode, titled Knots Untie reads: "After Rick comes to the realization that Alexandria might not be as safe as he thought, decisions must be made about where to go from here."

According to a SpoilerTV report, Negan is mentioned along with "The Saviors" of course and fans would get some answers about who they are, what they can do and why. They are definitely scary, but not for everyone apparently.

The site also calls Knots Untie a "must-watch episode," and teases that "what will happen during the hour could have huge consequences for the rest of the show". The episode will also focus on the "different romantic relationships in an interesting way." And the focus will not be on just Rick and Michonne, "two more couples will be featured more than usual".

.

In a sneak peek from this...'s episode, Sasha tries to distance herself from Abraham several weeks after he told her that he's interested in knowing her a "whole lot better". (via Design & Trend)

"I'll see you tomorrow," Abraham tells Sasha in the clip. "Nope," Sasha replies, revealing that she will no longer be patrolling with him. "I'm starting a new shift at a watch post," she explains. "I already talked to Eugene. He wants to help out more. He said he'll take over my patrol with you." Abraham, who is obviously disappointed to hear the news, just mutters, "See you around."

The Walking Dead season 6 episode 11 airs on 28 February at 9pm ET on AMC

well well well. there is a world of survivors beyond alexandria. the hilltop community seems promising, its land and people seem cool although that was a heck of a way to for the two communities to become acquainted. it's cool to realize there are other communities of survivors.

.

i dunno about agreeing to trade food for warrior services. i'm sorry the alexandrians actually intend to provoke the conflict with negan. hit him before he comes for them?

another death-free episode. yay!! i was afraid for abraham there for a moment, but then things turned around.

I didn't realize they go after him before he comes for them. i can kind of understand what Rick is getting at but since he doesn't know who he's dealing with, obviously things are going to take a sour turn. I think it might be worth it to figure out how to get that truck out the lake, learn about other communities before going with a gut reaction.

yeah. it took me completely by surprise to learn that the alexandrians are that desperate. no hint of that in earlier episodes. then again, being hungry would likely be a permanent kind of thing.

.

this is the first time i've been disappointed with rick. he should know, from his experience with the governer, that more reconnaissance is necessary before committing his people to the job of knocking negan out.

.

then again, in the new world, once one learns of an ultimate asshole and realizes it is only a matter of time before the ultimate asshole comes for them, well, myabe it does make sense to just burn that asshole to the ground before they even know one exists???

they've reached a point of not making sense. I have a lot to says but not the time so I'll just say how come Alexandria didn't know about this community network? They had scouts out looking for people. They were a thriving well established community and they got completely overlooked by other established thriving communities? Up until Ricks group show up?

I was kind of wishing more for a Sasha and Abraham hook up. But that really is a problem so I prefer this non-sloppy way. In fact it does give a bit more depth with these normal issues going on instead of just people hooking up left and right.

Alexandria needs more skill sets. They need to recruit as oppose to finding random people and playing hitman. Morgan may not be an engineer by trade but he did devise a way of surviving alone, he has skills in building a defense perimeter. Why isn't that being used? He just stands around holding a stick like that's all he has to contribute, a new found philosophy. Now there's a doctor? Recruit him. Jesus, I have no idea what to call his skill set but heck he's useful, recruit him. Building strength seems more reasonable with this new information of other communities. Alexandria seems like it has a lot going for itself if they can find the right people, then train them to fight.

That's what's nagging me. We are being told who's doing well, who's doing bad but it's not translating visually. Hill Top looked backwards and shoddy, as I don't know what, compared to Alexandria, but they are supposed to be thriving, but it's not translating visually. I don't think that's done on purpose. Alexandria looks cleaner (yet Rick's group was too dirty to talk to), far more modern, better housing, all kinds of stuff. Hilltop does have a blacksmith, recruit him too. Snatch up a couple of farmers. The only reason Hilltop's leader isn't a big baddie is because he's a big coward. I'm sure Rick's group looks good to some smart people.

sigh I'm not getting how after everything that Rick & co. has been through, why they are deciding to suddenly trust Jesus THEN decide that they are going to take in Negan without first researching who they are truly dealing with. The dude back at the plantation is soft as shit, it's obvious that his bourgeois fascade is nothing but a cover for not knowing how to to really fight. Why is it that Rick feels like he can save every damn body? There comes a time where there MUST be a limit. Now they are heading into great danger and it's not going to end well at all. I predict that Glenn will be dead by the finale.

I love the whole Richonne vibe. They are so cute together. :touched:

Abraham really has it bad for Sasha. I'm guessing that she feels the same about him which is why she's distancing herself from him. She doesn't want to care for someone deeply and fall in love again only to lose that person like how she lost Bob. So I get it. Still it's cute seeing an alpha male like Abraham, yearning for someone who's playing hard to get. touched
