WASHINGTON, February 8, 2016 — Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) and Greg Nicotero (Director/Special Effects) of the popular AMC television show The Walking Dead were part of a panel at the George Washington University Lisner Auditorium last Friday.

The packed house of about 1,500 decidedly rabid fans, who started lining up around 1:00 in the afternoon, heard not only Lincoln and Nicotero, but also show runner and fan favorite Scott Gimple and prop master John Sanders. The evening’s moderator was Eric Deggans of NPR.

i have really mixed feelings about the next episode. on the one hand, i want to see the story unfold. it's fascinating in a freaky kind of way (what will happen next????).

then again, i do NOT want to see any characters die.

okay, i suppose we could spare morgan (sorry dude!) or one of the alexandrians... even jessie and her awkward sons (sorry guys, really truly!)

i dunno. i hope the writers/directors refrain from breaking our hearts but that just wouldn't be like them, would it. they love making us cry. besides, the story has already been written and negan is in it big time.

but if it were me, i'd edit the heck out of that script. a huge sharknado would sweep down on negan and his men, chomping them into chum and spitting them out over the atlantic. yeah. that's what i'd do. sharknado
