22 and a half hours until I get to see it in West Coast USA. Someone leaked a bunch of scenes but the only one that wasn't taken down by disney by the time I got to them was the scene between Han and Kylo (THAT one). I've watched it multiple times already.

Can't believe I've got to wait 2 years until the next one!

It comes out in May 2017, so only a year and a half.

You think Disney will have a hard time recovering its $200 Million production costs over the weekend?....I think not....

okay, I had one night of sleep over it..... and I must admit.... I still loooove it! biggrin

most outstanding by far to me was the set and cinematography. this was what I was hoping for most, and I got it! a REAL looking movie with real sets and most important REALISTIC camera movements, sometimes shaky, the final shot even from a helicpoter... also many static shots with no camera moving at all... perfect! you think you are placed WITHIN the action, and not an outsiede observer watching on screen, in galaxy far far away.

unlike the prequels this simply feels like it takes place in the same universe as the original trilogy. it looks and feels like SW again, and not like you're stuck in some computer game or some virtual irreality surrounding. sure there is lots of CGI, but it melts seamless with the physical sets.

Star Wars aside - and I may be naive - but I just HOPE this could be pivotal movie for the making of future films of any genre. I've really had enough of the CGI overkill we got during the last 10 or 20 years. it's fine to use computer effects, that is NOT my problem. but goddamn the audience should not SEE and FEEL "computer" all the time. this made so many recent movies barely unwatchable for me, just because of the fake optics

the story, well okay... I don't care that they took sooooo many elements from the old SW, reshuffled it and put it together to form something new. it works!

so what, they choose NOT to walk new grounds, but went for the old well known elements... some even claim it's more a remake than a sequel, but then so was Return Of The Jedi

the cast and acting, the introduction of the new characters melting with the old, well crafted, also lots of humour, so many wonderful things... and did I mention I love the look and feel?

Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

Should I see it in 3D or with my regular eyeballs? The only thing that bugs me about 3D is having to wear the shades the whole time, but I love the 3D effects....How did you view the movie?

I watched the entire first season of LOST in preparation, because that has some of the original 1977 Star Wars mythical vs contemporary vibe more than any of the actual Star Wars sequels, original two sequels included.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new movie tomorrow night in 3D.
