I never said they were in on the lie. We as a society have been brainwashed in to believing the earth is round. People go about their daily lives without even giving it a second thought.

My bosses son is a pilot. I'm gonna ask him next time i see him if when he achieves altitude and sets the cruise control, does he just flight straight or does he have to adjust for the earths curvature?

Duh.... gravity. Its that force that keeps us down and acts perpendicular to the earths surface. A plane requires x amount of lift to remain y feet above the ground. Gravity (g) is always constant, so as long as x is constant, y will remain constant. No need to correct anything to account for curvature because g is always acting at right angles to the curved surface. How does gravity work on your flat earth? You do know you wouldn't have any right? As I'm sure you are aware, the mass of any object causes space to curve three dimensionally. This means that the greater the mass, the greater the 3d curvature. And as you will know, the only natural state that can be derived from this natural phenomenon comes in the shape of a sphere. Have a read.... take a look..... Einstein might be a good starting point.... there are many mathematical examples of why the only possible shape the earth, or any large celestial body can be, is spherical.

The old gravity explanation. Gravity is the answer all to questions that can't be answered by globers. Gravity is a lie! Any object which is heavier than the air, and which is unsupported, has a nutural tendency to fall by it's own weight. Newton's famous apple dropped as a matter of necessity, to the ground, totally irrespective of any attraction of the earth. Rising smoke for example, why does the earth not attract rising smoke which is not nearly as heavy as the apple? The answer is simple - because the smoke is lighter than the air, and therefore does not fall but ascends. There really is an up and down.

all i'd like ot know is why no one has ever gotten any pictures of the edges where everything you know....just rolls off into the abyss?

not one picture at the edge of the earth?

lol

not a one?

I did post some pictures from the edge of the Earth! And they came from a highly reputable website I found on the Internet, so you know they're true!

falloff I agree, this thread is AWESOME.

does anyone have a map of this flat earth? i'd love to know if its rectangular, octogonal, or is it a disc? like...is it flat and round? smile

How is it that "gravity" is so strong that it can hold all the oceans, buildings and people stuck to the under-side of the ball-earth, BUT so weak that it allows birds, bugs, smoke, and balloons to casually evade its grips completely!?

I don't think it's supposed to be real. It's just the map of the flat earth, NOT the actual flat earth.

indeed lol

it's so simple. the second law of thermodynamics states clearly, that things from a complex and ordererd state MUST ALWAYS shift to a state less complex and more disordered.

but still objects do not "fall" in all sorts of directions, but always down, and objects from RANDOM heights always fall down to exactly the SAME height! now how big are the chances for this? you might as well shake 100 billion atoms and hope they would turn into an iPod.

yes, all things reach the same height. and this is simply IMPOSSIBLE without some Intelligent Down-Puller guiding the process.

by the way, as it turns out, the down-puller happens to be the Abrahamic God of the Bible. that is certainly a nice coincidence. and way better and more satisfying than some wicked random materialistic gravity no one fully understands.

and gravity (which is basically just a religion for atheists) is alse evil, cause people have fallen down from houses and died!

it's awful such alternate theories like Intelligent Falling do not get into the school curriculum, and they continue to teach that Newton nonsense, an outdated theory that is losing ground every day. disbelief

don't laugh. it's a fair question neutral

and the only sensible answer out there is, that an almighty Intelligent Being pulls up birds and ballons and pushes down the water and buildings shrug

or the relative density of birds and balloons is lesser than that of buildings and oceans and the physical attraction between them is correspondingly weaker. but who could say for sure? to this day we cannot define 'gravity' with precision; so considering all that we do not know about the universe isn't it possible that another dimension overlaps ours and the invisible people of that world alternately launch birds and balloons upward while other invisibles cling to and drag down the buildings. in any case i must say imo Funkcreep is making an excellent case for the flat earth theory and it's been fun watching the debate unfold biggrin

Ok. So birds don't float. They fly. Their airworthiness has nothing to do with lesser attractions. Drop a dead bird off a building (some buildings are lighter than aeroplanes don't you know) and it.....never mind!

Oh and we're pretty damned precise when it comes to gravity. Far more precise than is required to explain why balloons float. We landed a robot on a fucking comet!

Answer this about gravity:

If ocean tides are caused by the moon's gravitation, how is it that lakes, ponds, and other smaller bodies of standing water remain outside the moon's grasp, while the GIGANTIC oceans are so effected...why is that?

heres your answer:

any object which is heavier than air, and which is unsupported, has a natural tendendcy to fall by its own weight. there is no gravity because if it existed, the earth would attract the rising smoke which is not nearly so heavy as the oceans that gravity supposedly holds to the earth. Smoke is lighter than air, and therefore, does not fall but ascends.
