Do you think people are being honest about their feelings about this? I don't. In fact, I have seen SUCH phoniness on this. Two of my coworkers called me talking trash, like, "Have you seen Caitlyn? I'm already sick to death hearing about Caitlyn this and Caitlyn that. Again, I support Bruce finding his true identity, but the media focus is sickening and so is the money she's now making because of this. I also do not find her attractive. Certainly not ugly, but not beautiful either like everyone seems to be saying. I feel bad for Jessica Lange and all the comparisons as Jessica is a true beautiful woman. | |

My only issue is that the media is glossing over the fact that bout 99% of other trans do not have the money or a pr machine behind them when they come out. Alot of issues are being forgotten bout to oogle this woman. Kinda a shame that a world famous sportsman has been reduced to nothing but a sex object but that's how it is. It's elective surgery.
If you want to breast, butt, calfs , lips, nose, pecks, penis enhancement or reduction for cosmetic reasons, medical insurance doesn't cover elective surgery. Most instances, medical insturance doesn't cover infertility issues either... the things I've been listed above - of course- would be on the person(s) dime.

Shouldn't we also recognize this forum... the org isn't nor should it be a place for "groupthink" either?
People will have different points of view. If you disagree or think some folks opinions are foolish... speak up and say why, call the person(s) out. Running to a mod because you've been insulted in my humble opinion is, childish. We are all adults, if some folks can dish out saying dumbshit, they should also be able to take it when others call them on it. Get backbone, grow a pair, or reach back and pull your undies out of a bunch. "Snipping" someone points of view is censorship; you've censored a persons words on a page not their thoughts. I know, I know your forum /org rules... which have always been arbitrarily enforced. Change and mindsets evolve when we have a honest discourse. (IMHO)
