The Movie Endless Love.

Is one of the best thrillers of the 1980's. People actually thought this was a sweet love story? or as the tagline says ''the greatest love story of all time''

I got the movie on TV while i was at the gym (It was cardio day so I'm there awhile) and wtf? this is one creepy movie with so many thing's wrong with it. The mother catcher her daughter getting rammed by someone. And she just watches and it and gets off on it. The boyfriend stalk the girl for half the fucking movie. Burns her house down, is responsible for her fathers death, nearly fucked her mom. And then at the end he throws the girl on the bed and nearly rapes her. Then she ''gives in'' and romantic music plays eek

Who writes this shit? lol this is where the Endless Love song came from? this song works pretty good as a thriller. But it's supposed to be a romance movie confused

I'm sure some of you at the org have seen this movie. Were audiences not creeped out by this back in the day? this shit was 10 times than Twilight ever could be.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

This movie was a flop and no one got it, for all the reasons you mention.

I'm not sure if you're referring to the original 1981 movie with Brooke Shields or the remake that came out a couple of years ago, but yes, they both actually were quite creepy. Actually, very much like most the Nicholas Sparks movies that came out the past decade, but this preceded that.

But then again, this was a hit song just before the original movie came out, yet if someone tried to release this today, that person would be arrested for attempted rape with a minor.

A friend of mine told me what the real meaning to the song "Into the night", he said it was about a guy who knew a girl who was being abused by her parents. He wanted to help her to have a better life and get her out of that situation.

I was. I saw it in a movie theater and it was noy what I expected at all. I was eek But it was definitely more absorbing than a regular love story--going for the shock factor. False advertising. lol Defintely not women's lib material or for the politically correct. It's actually based on a novel by Scott Spencer.
