That's cool. Some are "rocking" their mullets all day too.
Not sure how you see goatees and mullets the same.
Mullets were really an 80's fad much like the poofy hair ladies wore
in the 80's
Well, mullets are terrible look. Yes, they were a fad in the 80s.
Goatees are also terrible look, they were all the rage in the 90s - also looked at as a really bad fad by many.
It's just not a modern, stylish look...
Here is a funny little article on how people judge facial hair.

"Goatee A man whose stuck in the past. "This [facial hair style] hit in the mid-1990s. It was a bit of a statement then, but it's sort of become the overly done expression. Some men still wear it, but one guy I interviewed said, 'If your dad and your dentist still have goatees, it's time to change your look.'"

I see you just hate goatees. I don't like the boonkey face clean shaven look especially without a mustache. It makes you look like a 16 year old tadpole. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint |

Have you always had a goatee my lil' phunkdaddy? I must admit I like men with full goatee's and nicely trimmed.
Well 8 years strong. I keep it nicely trimmed. I do work with some attractive females.
I think your brother may have used the wrong Magic Shave. If you he used the red or blue
can it will peel the skin off your face. Have to use the milder gold and black can.
That what it was called MAGIC SHAVE... I was 'bout to call way down there in Cajun country and ask him.
Well you know this was waaaaaaaay back in the day, they just had Red then. God the stuff smelled, our dad must have had alligator skin or something. I had a girlfriend who swears she used Magic Shave to strip some paint off a door. But I have to take that with a grain a salt... when she had a couple of drinks, she thought she was Bob Villa.

I remember being in Montreal last year and seeing quite a few hipsters. But I wonder if it was more of a French look than anything. Didn't this hipster stuff start in Paris? When I was in Japan about 5 years ago I remember the skinny jeans look was popular. All the Japanese boys looked like girls - lol. Most of the guys I know with facial hair are just hiding an ugly face. I have had beards and goatees and they are a big pain in the ass to maintain. Plus I have not yet met a girl that liked them. So fuck beards. |

No. Goatees are the new mullets.
Spot-on. We talked about this before, remember? When I see old pics of myself with a goatee I cringe. I look like some generic dude called Greg from the Midwest.

I can see why women find beards attractive. I wish I could grow one but it usually ends up with just a little chin stubble and ratty sideburns that don't connect. Waiting for my face to slim out so it actually looks nice/sleek, because otherwise it can make your face look bigger/bulkier imo. Maybe do, just not like did before |

And... no more beard. It grows fast, so let's see if I can get it back by spring.
That's enough photowhoring from me for awhile though. (You're welcome.) |

I have a thing against beards.
Some men do look good with a short, neat and sharp one.
It depends though. Not every trend is for everybody.
So, what is going to be the next trend? 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%. |
