Dallas played football for 45 mins last night then they almost gave the game away. It did make for a slightly excited last quarter. Good for Chicago for showing they had the heart to not give up.

I am I weird...erm...i mean...is it odd... that I get annoyed when people say "We won" when they are not on the team? Or when someone says "we have X rings..." But are from 20 years ago...

I was raised a cowboy "fan" but I am not obsessed. Win or lose I still pay my own bills. And as I say "I like it when the win... I like it a little more when they lose." But I do admit I am getting a little more interested in them this year... a winning season! (and really should be 10 and 3). Their lost to Washington could come back to haunt them!

And they should win the 2 of the last 3... but Phili will do at least that good. Despite being 6 and 0 on the road Dallas is going to have to step it up to beat the Eagles.

But if Dallas can beat Phili and the last two... that will just mean a bigger disappointment when they choke in the playoffs.

Ike was done last season. There was a reason they tried to sign Alteraun Verner
during the offseason. Next draft needs to be secondary heavy. Cornerback,Safety, cornerback, safety. One hell of a fourth quarter from the Steelers. Let's hope the black and gold can run the table. Win and they are in.

quarterback Cam Newton was involved in a car accident Tuesday in Charlotte, N.C.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Newton is believed to have suffered no major injuries in the crash, according to someone in touch with people on the scene.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department spokesperson Rob Tufano, Newton was involved in a two-car accident on S. Church St. at 12:30 p.m. ET.

"Both Newton, who was the driver of the truck, and the driver of the sedan were taken to (a) hospital with non-life threatening injuries," Tufano said. "Police are continuing to investigate."

One eyewitness saw Newton's vehicle flip "two or three times," Jonathan Jones of The Observer later told NFL Network.

Rescuers arrived on the scene and loaded Newton onto a stretcher and into an ambulance. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed to The Observer that Newton was able to communicate, while Rapoport was told that the quarterback didn't even want to go to the hospital, but was taken away as a precaution.

The Panthers tweeted Tuesday that they were "closely monitoring the situation."

The Observer captured this photo of Newton smiling before being taken away:

Man that overpass where he wrecked is the 4th most dangerous in the city. He is
definitely a blessed man because he's fortunate the car didn't flip over a few more times over the overpass or it could have been a tragic day in the city.

It's a good thing they made him go to the hospital because they found that he broke bones in his back....scary.

Fantasy football question.
I have my first playoff game today but I'm in a quandary whom to
start at qb. Drew Brees is my starter but should I trust him on the
road at Chicago and the tricky weather by the lake on a Monday night or should I play it safe and start Joe Flacco against Jacksonville today.

Why is FOX playing the AFC game Bengals VS Browns? I know thanksgiving there were 3 NFC games played which meant CBS played a NFC match up. So I think the following week FOX played Colts VS Browns which I thought was a make up game for the AFC. But airing this Bengals VS Browns game I don't understand.

I didn't want either team to win. I wished this would have ended in a 3-3
tie. At least we won't have to listen to Skip Bayless nonsense about Johnny zzzzz tomorrow. Nice win by our Steelers today. Chiefs up next. One game at a time.

OK, but if you ask the question should I go for Flacco you'll know my answer.

I don't quite get the scheduling of some games on TV this year, but with NBC being allowed to flex in games for the entire season (though they have not done so yet) and the NFL scheduling all but two of the Thursday night games as intra-divisional games, this has wreaked havoc on the traditional TV scheduling. My Bears opened up the season at home against Buffalo, which should have aired on CBS but aired on FOX instead. Likewise, they later played Minnesota at home and Detroit on Thanksgiving, which normally would have aired on FOX but both games aired on CBS. Last week, the Indianapolis-Cleveland game aired on FOX even though it was an all-AFC matchup.

I thought they played the Colts/Browns game on FOX to make up for CBS playing the Bears/Lions game on thanksgiving. But then FOX played another AFC math up with the Bengals/Browns game which I don't understand confuse They should have stop playing that game (guess they wanted to show johnny football) since it was a blow out and air a more competive game.

But this is the best Pats team Bill Belicheat's had since the Super Bowl years. That secondary is lockdown, and the offense is deadly with a healthy Gronk. The only team that could give them serious trouble is Baltimore, not Denver.
