1. Figure 8 - Lovely keyboard and string instrumental, though I could do without the bridge

2. 3 is a Magic number - Pretty evocative lyrics for a kid's song

3. Great American Melting Pot - Not much into the whitewashed narrative, but I find the melody really infectious.

4. Jack Sheldon's phrasings and the piano work in Rufus Xavier Sasparilla are awesome!

5. Verb -- Funky

Aw poh, I didn't have much control over the TV much when I was a kid so I'm just as bill is the only one I remember, they must have played that one all the time I saw it quite few times..

The ABC's of School House Rock aired last night on the ABC network. It was fun reliving those Saturday morning sing-a-longs. About 15 years ago, I donated my vhs collection to an elementary school. Now, I have the 30th anniversary set on dvd. I should watch it someday and share with the

Honestly they ALL are great and clever songs so we could debate on the top 5 forever, but IMO I'm surprised A Noun Is A Person, Place Or Thing didn't make the top 5
