It is tiny little stuff like this that shows we do not even begin to understand the complexity of animals and their emotions. It is truly scary therefore how we treat them.

Another great example of animal emotions. I have been going through some different thoughts lately. I have noticed that most western religions do not talk much about animal energy or plant energy or the energy of the ocean etc. I wonder if the lack of acknowledging these things as having there own spiritual energy is the reason why we feel so comfortable trashing them.

I don't know, but he's a cute little thing. I wish I could post the wild ape (I forgot it's breed) doing a selfie, it's too funny. Honestly I think you might get surprised when you start researching closer to the root of a religion. I'm not sure what is included in western religions, that's a tricky subject without being specific.

I have been thinking lately of buying a bible again and just reading it for myself without anyone telling me how to or when to. I don't remember anything in my past experiences where I either read about cruelty to the earth or animals or where it was brought up in a Christian service of any kind, Not in my experiences anyway.

Before I get this poor thread moved into P&R where all good threads go to die;-) , I should end this now:-? confused .

Hey, has anyone been checking out the new Lays potato chip contest/ challenge?

coffee cappucino is one flavor on a regular chip

mac'n'cheese bacon and macaroni and cheese is another

sushi wasabi is the third, I think

foodnow mango salsa is the fourth. I have tried all of them but the mango. The other 3 flavors are available in small bags. I haven't found many of the mango which leads me to believe it is the best.

I really need to balance my checkbook, so I can figure out how much money I have left in my account. Funny how I tend to procrastinate when it comes to stuff like that. confused

I'm happy and grateful.

Who would have thought that? Not so long ago I would think that would be impossible.

Surely, I will stay angry about how Monsanto devastates nature and humans. And how the energy industry frustrates the development of environmental friendly methods, just because they want to keep control. But, besides those regular irritations, I'm happy.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

I used small elbow macaroni, mayo(made w/ olive oil), less sandwhich spread than mayo, diced onion, green onion, diced spicy pickled carrots & cauliflower, sliced and browned Hebrew national hot dogs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
